Here's mine. About 37 days since they broke soil. Only getting light from a 4 bulb T8 fixture. Couple more weeks, and they'll get transplanted into bigger pots and go under the T5 fixture. I think I have at least 2 males, time will tell.

Thanks for the info, the first for pics are of the same plant. The last pic is of the second one. First four pics are of the largest plant it stretched the most. All have the extra two weird fan leaves that ducks exhibited.

One male, two females. All 3 were easy to root cuttings from. Got roots from all within 8 days.

#1 which is the male. will note that the stems were hollow all the way to the top of the plant.

What are you guys getting for m/f ratio's on the DN? Pretty sure at least 3 of the 5 seed plants I have are males. That doesn't upset me in the least, just wondering. I have been starting seeds without a heat mat lately, as the last few rounds of seed starts have been a higher percentage of males. Don't know if that wives tale is true about lower temps producing more females, bit figured I'd give it a go.

Love me some males to do chucking with, but I at least wanna have some DN buds to puff, lol.

Mine have hollow stems too. They look great unreg :tiphat:
TOG I had 2 males out of 5 seeds, but one female seems like a dud of some sort. I had problems with it in veg and I have small tiny buds with the hairs browning up.not producing really any bud compared to the other two I have.

Its gotta take a strong man to cull a plant that dank, I bet its a scene like the end of Old Yeller. She's foaming all over though, so I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.

I didn't cull the #1, patients said her smoke blew away #2's. So, #1 lives on and #2 was culled lol

View Image View Image @ duck so I was looking over your thread to try and see what I have so far ,and the pheno I have with the extra blades would be the #2 pheno you have ?

Yes, I would assume phenos with the extra blades will be like my #2.

On my very first pack of Darlin's Net, I got 6 males and 2 females. So far it seems like you get 1 female per 3 males.

I read in one of the Grow books I have, that if a seedlings feed is too strong/hot, it's more likely they'll become male. Could be bullshit though...

super hollow for sure! We selected toward pithy stems in the GB for more support, those hollow stems are hard to LST hehehee,,, make a hitter bro ha!
Although I read some old ass paper that said hollow stems were drug type, who knows. Sometimes i get those develop with super fast growth in early flower.

Here's the dry buds of Darlin's Net #2 (Now culled).

Her buds smelled like a mix of Bamboo stakes, GG, and light notes of Kush.

Her smoke wasn't as good as the #1. That's all I really can say lol the patients said the "The #1 blew away the #2" and they "definitely want more of the #1".

Darlin's Net #2 yielded either 2.6oz or 2.8oz, I can't exactly remember.

Dibs on the second from the left, top row! Ill take 1 on the left in row 2 also, it has that nice darker tone that likes to go uber frost in the sour b line.

I remember reading something that indicated hollow stemmed plants was an indication of quality. Some also indicated it was a virus . It was a long time ago I dont remember exactly..

when growing from seed the plants with the hollow stems were usually the better looking/smoking females in my garden, imo.

i've heard people say it's a trait for hemp but to me (not knowing shit about hemp) one would think the solid stemmed plants with all the pithy material inside is what would be better for hemp? idk.

dj short also selected for the hollow stem trait. people seem to think it's a trait that equates to potency and cannabinoid production.
