me too Rives~~~~3rd grade,Walked home from school everyday (Really did),stopped by the gas station to load up on candy, potato sticks in a can, one giant sweet tart, and a coca cola, then made it to my friend Daisy's house (her name really was DAISY!) to watch " Dark Shadows " at 4:00~~~~~ where we sat on the floor about 2 feet from the tv. Barnabas Collins....(sigh) my first crush ! I can still see the water sloshing on those dreary rocks~~~~~~~~

Good ta see we're gettin' a sense of humor here at the mag......I remember my mother would watch dark shadows in the 70's ......1st was general hospital with luke and laura then dark shadows.......every day I had to sit through them both......Dark shadows useta freak me out as a boy though with that freaky bald fanged vampire thing........never got the comedic side then......after seein' the preview I see it now.........

um , there was no comedic side to the original Dark Shadows. a lil campy ?maybe, a lil cornball? absolutely...... Actually it was depressing as hell!
Tim Burton must have decided to make it funny cuz funny sells more tickets!..and so does J.D.
