This is my second grow, and I had a bit of a mess up with my timers.

I was vegging at 20/4 under some T5's then went to 18/6. Had a timer mishap and just noticed after being at 18/6 for two days I accidentally set my timer to 19/5. Three days after that I transplanted into 3 gallon containers and put them under a 600w digi HPS...still under 19/5 in an attempt to minimize stress.

I took a look a few seconds ago and my Sweet tooth #3 looks to have balls. The two Chunk D arent showing any balls.

Can someone confirm its male for me, Im positive it is but before I cut it I wouldnt mind some input.

Also, why is it showing sex now? Im still in veg at 19/5. Is it because of the lighting mess up and confusion?

yeah thats a male or hermi, 5 days after a 2 day light schedule change wont show hermis in a lot of strains I've ran. takes a lil more than that in my experience; and have you even flipped to flower? if its just showing balls at 18/6 or 19/5 its just a male plant showing its pre flowers.

a male isn't a bad thing if ya want to make some future seeds, but if its your only plant you started yeah it kinda sucks.

Im still on 19/5 so it must just be a male showing pre-flowers then I guess?? Unless it hermied on me.

I still have two Deep Chunk x Sour Diesel's that are vegging away, I only started 3 seeds ... for the most part just messing around even if I only get a single female it will be fine.

So I planted three seeds in total, one was the plant up above that turned out male. Heres the two other plants as of now ... looks like both to be male.

lol.... It wasnt a serious grow by any means but at the same time it sucks that they are all male.

Could I get a sex confirmation from you guys before I chop them down? I appreciate it, I think I have a handle on sexing them but just want to double check before I cut 'em.

Thanks guys. The first three pics are one plant, the next three are the second plant. The last pic is of the tent, they had a little stress from low humidity, I added some ultrasonics to the room and it fixed the problem but they have a few roughed up leaves from it.

What strain is it? I agree with jellyfish its too early to tell...I've had strains that when they preflowered it seemed male but once I flowered it was female...

IMO the only time preflowers are 100% accurate is if u see two hairs poking out of a tiny calyx....or if there is a ball on the end of what looks like a little stick...

I never trust the "clawed" preflowers.....

That first pic looks male for sure though.

You know, I just read the sticky again at the top of the forum, its been months since I looked at it first and I think I misunderstood sexing. I thought the males are the only ones that had anything right in that nodal space. Tell you the truth, and I didnt get a good pic of it, but after looking closer both plants seem to have two hairs coming out of what I thought were the balls. The shape is much different then that very first plant I pictured too. Whereas that first plant did have the ball on the end of the stick, these simple have little nugget looking things in that same location with what does appear to be little hairs.

I thought that simply having anything in that spot meant male. Thank god I didnt chop them I was so close a second ago but then I figured Ild better post some pics and ask.

Ill give them more time they need to double in size about from here before I flip 'em.

if there are diff pix of diff plants you might wanna say which is which as obviously they could be different. edit: saw that you indicated which is which in your second set of pix

the first plant looks like it could be female but not 100% till I see the hairs.
