I dont have a clue what they're cutting it with this time, I just know it is very hard to tell. The buds look very covered in chrytals, at first it looks like extremely good bud. But with a trained eye you can see there is an un-natural amount of chrystals.

Its not sand or glass this time either, the chrystals have no taste and the bud burns just like normal. In a joint it tastes fine but in a bong you get a true taste of this shit. Its hard to explain but it tastes wrong. The ash looks normal and it doesnt fizzle. When you grind it up you can see how much dust there is all over the bud, a stupid amount.

It is very scary because they have found something that alot of stoners wouldnt even notice about.

yeh its definatly something these bastards put on the buds whilst they are growing it to increase weight. Its just so hard to tell and looks and smells like nice bud, so most of the dealers are buying it These idiots...i cant wait untill my small outdoor harvest!

I know it's been said before but just in case anyone has been asleep for the last 3 months..............

the way to test bud before buying is to break of a piece with a good number of crystals on and bite it. Normal bud will simply crush in your teeth but the contaminated bud is crunchy and tastes wrong. Always worth doing a taste test now. It's also good to look out for black dust which is often used and also shotblasting powder. That's been used several times and is much like pulverised sand.

Another way to test it is to tap some onto a small glass plate and then burn it. Trichomes bubble when burnt but the contaminant either melts like plastic or stays the same as it was. i consider this the best test as it's incredibly difficult to pass using the usual adulterants. Not much will burn like a trichome.

to hear bud is being laced with unknown substances and filler is shocking to say the least. i hope the government steps in to do something about this as well, or at the very least, and investigation and public announcement warning people out there to be on the look out for contaminated cannabis.
Yet another reason why they need to legalize the cannabis industry, and now! Take it out of the hands of criminals and lowlife's who try and getaway with distributing this garbage.

dogboy - The reason I made this thread is because they are using a new type of chemical, it doesnt crunch in your teeth, has no taste and feels how trichomes would feel. They burn normaly aswell which is scary, but people need to be alerted, if you grind up a bud, there will be alot of kif coloured powder...but its not thc at first even i thought it was good quality bud, after a closer inspection i realised it wasn't.

just like others have said... time to legalize and regulate. but i think people in government love hearing these kinds of stories. they like hearing of potential death to something they don't truly support. they encourage this behavior by growers by not legalizing and regulating. they're part of the problem.
