lol what do you expect when you are doing massive burnouts in the rain.

I saw this kid doing burnouts with his front wheel drive mazda in the parking lot yesterday thinking he's all hardcore made me laugh, wanted to give him the finger when he drove by what a douche.

post a pic. lets see the damage and play "guess the estimate"..

i was in a stupid car accident with a telephone pole.. 2 doors, a center pillar, paint and labor-later i was out 5 grand. but whatever, take the good with the bad.. take this as a wake-up call and remember it..

some people don't have this experience and they push themselves and their cars to limits you and me wouldn't be stupid enough to touch, and as a result they total cars, kill or injure people and so forth..

atleast now you know that a big metal (more like fiber glass) box does not make you invincible.

oh i knew that freetheweed. it was just a really bad call on my part. i just consider myself very lucky because it was a hard hit to the front of the car and i didn't have a seatbelt on and managed not to go through the window. i don't know if i'm gonna be able to get up a pic of the car or anything but its gonna need a new front bumper, fenders, and hood. and new steering wheel and passenger side air bag or atleast airbag cover. and new paint. my uncle does cars and should be able to hook me up so i'm hoping it won't run me more than 2,000 or so maybe less because i'll be doing alot of the work myself.

I'm glad you are ok. And I'm also glad to see that you realize you made a bad call. A-Loc, please just start wearing your seatbelt, especially when you are driving in the rain....Sorry, but IMO if you can't drive responsibly, then you don't need to be driving in the first place.

Hopefully the cost will be minimal since you will be doing most of the work yourself.

I was in a car wreck while a few years back, and I also was not wearing a seatbelt. Our minivan t boned a fox body mustang at 70 mph while they stupidly crossed the interstate right in front of us...without stopping. I was in the middle of leaning over the middle seat (I was in the back) to grab a coke out of the ice chest. I always wear my seatbelt, except when I need to grab a coke or something.... We slammed into the Mustang, airbags went off, crap flew around every where, including me. I was staring right out the windshield when it happened, as I was leaning over the seat. I don't know how I did not fly out the window, but I am glad I didn't. I suffered a cracked rib, and my dad and brother were fine. Van totaled, Mustang totaled, the two guys in the Mustang were in very bad shape. You could have touched one guys brain, huge whole in the head. The other guy was convulsing on the dashboard, the window was spider webbed with blood and hair in it.....
Horrible. Everyone ended up ok though, even though the driver of the Mustang had a 95% chance of being brain dead. He made a full recovery, and neither have any clue as to why they ran a stop sign.

^^^ damn...

i got in a car accident januray 25th i think... i was crossing turning into a side street and didnt see the other car coming my windows were kinda fogged up from the cold weather. i crossed dude smashed right into my new 06 chevy colbalt....

totaled...

he left in a ambulence because of back pain but he ended up fine. and i didnt have my seatbelt on (i dont think) and only thing i suffered from it was a sprained wrist.

lol, I did something pretty stupid too, backed up in a gas station in a hurry on a snowy day and this toyota came up behind me and I hit him at very low speed on his bumper but it still put a nice dent in my rear fender which is pretty deep and will cost me a nice amount to fix.

And despite car fatality statistics, people are more confident driving thana flying. wtf

I drive as little as possible. Only if I need to and only on very short trips and not during busy drive times.

I've never been in an accident, but even on short trips, with the amount of dumb shit I see people do behind the wheel, turns me off from driving entirely. I remember it used to be somewhat difficult to pass a road test when I got my license. Meaning they were very careful and demanding of a new driver.

But it seems lately they're just giving people licenses if they know how to turn on a car. I hate driving, I hate sitting behind the wheel bored out of my mind, flowing on the highway like salmon. It's irritating and other driver's irritate me with the dumb shit they do behind the wheel. In my opinion, if you're behind the wheel, you should be driving and thats IT! Not yakking on the cell phone, not feeding your kid, not reading a book (I see this way too many times), not eating a big mac, etc.

For me, my choice of transportation is a bike. And for extended trips, a bike to the bus. If I have to carry a bunch of shit, (Home Depot, Groceries, etc), I will do it early morning or late at night with minimals cars on the road.

Besides, it's hard to experience life when it's flying by you at 55+ MPH.

yeah driving sucks in rush hour traffic but I like driving especially in the summertime.

don't really like driving in the winter in the rain and shitty weather.

I agree passing a driving test doesn't really mean you can drive....
