Dalat X C99

hello all, most know me as CBF, heres some shots of the Dalat X C99.

its been sometime since the Dalat strain was introduced to the growin world on OG. DiWeeDalat had been blippin around nam back in the day, came across a air accessable village in the hills or mountains which had a plantation of some of the best smoke he had ever experienced....25 foot dalats

after the war and Di had returned to the states, he took a trip back to that spot and collected the Dalat beans, generously gifted many beans to many growers and the thread began. one of the best threads ive followed. at the time i didnt know anyone online, just growin and followin along. like most peeps wouldnt mind gettin my dickbeaters on a cache of those beans.

well over a year later I traded for some dalats, which im still waitin to grow and a few months ago I was able to get hold of this cross, which is reputed to be ridiculously(sp) potent, right up my alley.


this run is pretty much a seed grow, and prolly pollinate some more tomorrow, as i been tappin her almost every weekend for three weeks now. pollin is viable as i hit up olBlue and I see seed pods already.



the dalatX plants are aggressive vigorous, crack a branch over 180, and its back in the light next day. hard sturdy stalks, large large fans.


you can see in this pic, that I have cracked the top over twice, where is been broken over the stem is like wood, hard as hell. the second time i broke it over i tewisted it as well so it was hangin down, and the next day i still had to bend more. raggin plants



this line also is known to yield huge even indoor, @ 9wks right now so just 11 more weeks till finish, piece O cake

You know I have a weak spot for sativas bro... that looks sooooooo goooddd....a friend is flowering out a Indian sativa, from Kerala, gotta show you some pics of the beast, has been flowering for three months soon and still a nice 3-4 months to go anyhoo, megasuper job bro!

Hey I know you. lol Nice to see you back and those girls are looking AWESOME. Love the long blades on them. Can't wait to see more. Been wondering about that Dalat. Keep up to great job and your going to have some major monster's on your hands. With the both of those two. I'm guessing a very nice haul for sure.

hey FJ thank you man, glad ya came by.

and yeah ill be lookin for some pics of the kerala, damn man 6/7 months, now thats a long one, lol.

im still gettin used to the sativa smoke, but I can see where some like it more then the indicas. one of the haze plants I kept really has a long lastin high, and after a few weeks in the jar she has a really nice lime aroma. tasty weed. she only flowers under 11/13 10/14 though, never would flip 12/12.

hey BG, yep Im expectin a goodly amout of buds, and theres three plants in there, fucked up the pic of the best plant in there. but it has real heavy, wide fan blades, thicker stalks and stems.

ive only grown a few real IBLs, plants that someone has dedicated there time to. many generations. dalat is one of those type plants, everything about the plant is right, Big sturdy even growin plants. when you see a population, big or small of worked plants, you just can see it, i dont know any other way to describe it.

the thing about the dalats that ya dont see in lines like this is how vigorous they are and the yield which the dalat produces.

really lookin forward to these.

Whoa dude, those plants are radical! And those are the coolest looking fan leaves I've ever seen. Nice to see another S.E Asian flavour added to all those thais in your garden.
That's fuckin' crazy how the plants take 19 weeks to bloom! I thought the quick C99 woulda brought that down at least to14-16 weeks. How old were they from seed when you bloomed em, or have you always been in 12/12 / 11/13?

Hey Sid,

Cool, old world looking plants.

Now you have me worried. :smile:

We have a pack of Dalat x Electric Haze, but that sounds likely to be more wild and perhaps even longer flowering than the C99 cross. We'll have to clear the decks for that one.

CGM, thanks for stoppin by bro, the tops and branchin has been bent over two and three times so far, so it does give the plants a unconventional look.

speedy, howzit goin, and thanks for followin my threads. the grower who turned me on to these seeds has grown um out a few times and its still a long haul till the end. i dont see anything resemblin the C99 in the plants. id imagine the dalat is the more dominant line. I vegged the plants for 4 weeks and put to flower.

DFs thai is two weeks in, ill have to get a thread here, since OG crapped out. the pvt thai and taipan could go anyday as well, BGs thai are 3 node seedlings right now.

hey Bopper, nice to see ya, were gonna have to crack those C99 X Haze#4s, together and compare notes, im really lookin forward to um myself.

dalat X electric haze, could go forever, as the dalats are goin 22 weeks or better, yeah 5 1/2 months of flower, im hopin 18 to 20 for these. cindy knocked um down 2 wks, lol. yeah clear the decks man, aggressive plants, there bullies in the OP.

these plants really suck up the water, half gallon every few days with these girls.


everyday its a continual fight to keep these plants under my lamps. if you can notice in the pics of the one plant, the top has been bent over at least 90degrees 5 times, and with in a few days the plant is back in the lamp.




think they have finally settled into buddin.......prolly not, lol.


this next pic gives a better look at the top which has been wrestled down to stay under my 4ft ceilin. always a experience keepin long tall sallies under 4ft

I had the original dalats goin and the hermie issue popped up onme. I do have a nice f1 of the dalat gifted to me by swissboy if you remember he did an amazing pure dalat grow and had to get up on huge ladders to tend his plants, the cross he gifted me is called batgirlXdalat which is his afghan collected in afghanistan by a fellow vet to diwees dalat. Yet to try it out but its on my short list. Cheers, richie W.
