cuttings from a plant in flower

hi lads i got a plant a week into flower would it still be ok to take cuttings from it. many thanks for any replys niceguy

Take cuttings, but it can take some time to revert back to veg. Some are quicker then others. No problems though.

You can take cuttings from budding branch. Having just a week into showing sex...it won't hurt anything. It takes a while to revert back to veg stage if more in bud....light and light consistent veg nutes works.

Plants are really resilient....they can take a lot of abuse.

From what I've experienced, the
much later and deeper into flower
just takes a lot longer to revert..
I've taken snips from specimens
in harvest window, full mature on
harvest day infact; still it works.
Just longer for a more mature snip
is.. you'll be fine! Happy cloning!!

I take clones in straight water under 12/12 all of the time. 100% success rate, it just takes longer than cloning under 18/6..

wow man thats crazy ahaha...its cool but who knows how long until it reverts.. i would never take it that late unless it was a strain that produces gold haha..none the less thats impressive never seen anything like it

My only problem with taking cuttings more than a few days into flower is that they start to reveg and if you try and throw them into flower too soon after they dont stretch much and they grow a bunch of tiny buds and single blade leaves.
Becomes a waste of space with plants half the size they should be with tiny buds

I take cuttings up to 5 weeks, take longer to root and reveg , other than that works fine
