Curry mania...

Hey guys....

Just thought I would share a snippet of one of my favourites.

I love having curry and bong nights at my place!!

Everybody used to pull in , we would blaze a few cones , then sit down to a curry with some choice red wine. Curry and weed I think are like Bonnie and Clyde!!

Any curry fans out there??

This is a beef curry... slow cookin for 3 hours!

I love a good curry :) tend to keep it veggie these days but I do miss a good lamb bhuna or a chicken madras.

A big plate of madras, pilau rice, poppadoms, naan bread and onion bhajis = bliss.

I must say i do enjoy a nice green curry from time to time, and there is much to be said about panang and massaman as well. The best restaurant curry i have ever had was in a restaurant on spuistraat in amsterdam. the best way to fill the tank of your sex machine for a night of hoerenloeping is a dinner of curry and singha.

Holy cow. First a Wal Mart thread, and now a curry thread? I'm in heaven. I LOVE curry, but try & stick to shrimp, chicken(breast), beef, and vegetables. Recently made a great shrimp curry with the usual suspects: potatoes, celery, red & green peppers, onion, and some other stuff. I definitely prefer it with rice, but if none is available, I'll still chow.

yeah Indian food is the shit lol. I've tried Butter chicken damn good shit.

I went to this really expensive Indian restaurant in the Netherlands a few years ago, think it was Amsterdam or a city close to Amsterdam. The restaurant was called Ghandi lol, and it was pretty expensive, cost like 120 bucks per person for a full meal, but it was the shit, we also had Indian beer and Indian ice cream. Kind of really expensive but still good stuff.

Holy shit... 120 as in Euro or dollars???? Either way thats madness.. You could order a seafood platter for 4 people for that kinda money in Africa... i.e enough seafood to make you spew!

lol yeah it was around 120 euros a person. All the other restaurants we ate at were around 20-40 dollars a person and all good food. We didn't really know it was that expensive until we got the bill lol.

It was a lot of food though, we kept on eating and the food still kept on coming, They brougth use huge platter with all kinds of Indian food. Some Indian hemp beer and then the Indian ice cream lol , didn't see any difference form regular ice cream.

I can't remember what city it was but I remember it was like 30 minutes or so from Amsterdam and it was called Ghandi.

It was good food but I think my dad was a little pissed because he didn't know it would be that expensive lol.

mmm curry. I'm a veggie and love a good curry. Recently a mate showed me how to make Paneer. It's basically like cottage cheese and resembles tofu.

Awesome in currys.

And people complain about seed prices....

I just watched a documentary that featured that beef that they massage the cows and feed them apples and beer... $1000 a kg!!!!!
