Curling/Praying leaves?

I was just curious what is wrong with a plant when its new growth and leaves fold along the main line in the leave, causing it to look like a pair of praying hands. I have 4 Sensi Big Buds 1.5 weeks into flower and they are starting to do this. I used distilled water with Botanicare nutes at half doses and only feed every third watering. They were nuted two days ago when i noticed the "praying" leaves but nothing has changed. Other than that, the plants are beautifully healthy and flourishing. Wasnt sure if it was a heat problem, but temps in there avg around 80 so i didnt think that was it. I also noticed a little bit of yellowing on the very tips of the new growth but that seemed to stop after their last feeding. Fed them Cal-Mag Plus, Pro Bloom, Silica Blast, and Liquid Karma, again all in half doses. The medium they are in is LC's soiless mix #2 (6 parts promix, 2 parts worm castings, two parts perlite, two tbs of lime per gallon of mix.) They are under a 400w hps in a GL80 tent.
Heres two pics that show the problem, but it is a little worse now then when the pic was taken.

yea the leaves aren't curling under though, their curing up around the edges. I think the photos show the problem pretty clearly...But i guess ill let um dry out real good before watering them. thanks

it can mean the soil is too wet but yours looks pretty dry. i have a little of this on a Power Plant i am flowering atm - i wondered if it could be magnesium def.

i'll be interested to see what other suggestions you get

The leaf fringes are pointing up and that is a sign of toxic salt build up heat stress or lack of water. The leaf is trying to dissipate as much water as possible. I would flush system and start on low dose of nutes

Sorry my friend didnt take time to look at the photos properly leaves turning up is the opposite its trying to retain water is the humidity very dry or is there a fan blowing directly on them? To be honest it dosnt look much to worry about.

yeah Im not too worried i just want things to be perfect this run. The humidity is slightly high on some days and i checked the max temp and it read 86.7 so i guess it is getting warm in there. I have a fan directly on them and i just raised the light a little more. I KNOW i need to air cool the hood and it already is sealed with glass and stuff i just need to get a new HO fan to properly run the air and maintain and maintain good negative pressure. I try to water them until the start to drip out the bottom. I will take some more pics after work and get them on here to show ya how they are now and give u a better look at the tent they are in. I prolbably havnt been letting them get completly bone dry in between waterings...but next water i am going to hit them till there pouring out. Thanks so much for the advice and ill be sure to get ya an update in 6 hours or so.

My best guess is well not an even feeding/watering and a little warm in the air! Gets to be a problem guessing on your own!

ubet dont you mean too much water??

I went back and double checked and in my bible it says lack of water.

Also i would say part of the problem is the 86.7 temps, could be causing some of the problem.

I would say get temps down, flush the salt out and then start back on low nutes.

I'm pretty sure that's an issue with temperature. See how it's only happening near the top of the plant? (near the light)

I raised the light up so its a little further away from the tops. With the door to the room open its 78% inside the tent they are in. with 49% humidity. I shut the door at night but just when the light is off. in the morning when i open the door to the room the temps are about 79-81. The only time it was spiking was when the door was closed during the day when the light is on in the tent, causing a lack of cool clean air into the room. Most lily the door got shut accidently buy me during the day when i make a trip in there a take a bong rip or so, shutting the door to avoid stinking up the entire house. So i guess after they dry completly out ill water them till they are leaking good and proper then just try and maintain low temps. Thanks to all for your words of wisdom.

Yeah im ok. the problem is, my plants still arn't! After realizing our temps were way to high(86 was the high) we realized it was time to air cool the hood, seeing we had everything we needed to do it anyway. So now the hood is cool and temps are not getting over 76 degrees, with a low of 69 at night. Only problem is that the plants are still showing this upward curling like praying hands. Someone said somthing about flushing the plants and i did that, but i was under the impression that you cant flush a pure organic medium with just water... I gave them plenty of water so that there was a nice ammount of run off on saturday and air cooled the light sunday. Today the plants are worse than they have ever been, with every top showing the curing leaves. I would have imagined if it was a heat problem, they would have gotten better or even stableized, but not gotten worse like they have. heres some pics

if it was a heat problem in organic medium then there is your problem right there!

beneficial bacteria and fungi are more sensitive to heat than the plant is.

whenever i have a heat wave here and dont do something about it, im always pulling off spider mites that have re-colonized themselves on weak plants due to the change in relationship with the beneficials.

they should get better if its that, but will take some time. try keep the temp stable on the medium if you can, maybe a week or a two and you'll see them get better if this is the problem.
