Curing/moisture content

I finally figured out how to grow some decent buds. Now something new is developing.

I keep my place at a comfortable temperature and humidity. Humidity is always 40% - 60%. I hang my trimmed plants for about 5 - 7 days and then do a final trim as I break up the larger buds. I leave these on newspaper until some start to get crispy dry and then transfer into a sealed jar. The moisture in some buds transfer to the drier buds and all is good. If they are too moist, another day or two in the air fixes them. I'm not super picky, but I fear mold. Lately, I've noticed that a bunch of not super tight, but nice buds, just won't get real dry. I have had three jars open for a week, with less than an ounce in each and the buds are just a little too moist to roll up a joint that burns nicely. It's almost like they are pulling water from the air. They might only have about 10% too much moisture content. Should I start running a fan over these? Can I add something to the jar that will reduce the moisture content in the buds? I don't want to use any harsh drying methods. This seems to be an issue with some buds that are a bit airy. They are mature and full of trichomes, but just don't want to get very dry. I tried spreading them out on paper for a couple of days and they are still on the moist side. What gives? Is it just because these buds are not as tight as most that I have produced? Sorry, it just doesn't make sense to me and I'm really hoping that I still need to learn some of the finer points.
