Cups/competitions!

High guys, hope this finds you well when you read it.

I know that the Tokers' Bowl is no mas, but that last year the Vansterdam Bowl went off pretty well! I would be so down to float over to the mainland and check out what is happening in 2010. Any news on an upcoming competition? I don't quite have the 10 oz required to enter yet hehe but it would def be an irie experience.

i would not surprise if no such events take place this year in canada


with bill c-15 in the air...i wouldnt not be surprised if rob nicholson send is dogs at any event who is promoting the use of cannabis .

i was informed too last night that the conservative are looking in a disposition of the law called moral corruption to accuse anyone who is suggesting any use of an illegal product aka marijuana ...even proposing it for medicinal use can be a crime

we live in the darkest age in canadian history .

a cannabis cup in any town is now an pure act of defiance for the conservative .

Nice thing about cups and peaceful gatherings is the number of people involved. It would be very stupid to stop anything that pertains to the medical cannabis community. With that said this is the conservatives or as I've renamed them the communists.

Toronto has one in the late spring / early summer. I was at the 2009 version, the boat cruise was the best part. There were around 7 or 9 entries i think, including Michelle's Bullrider, Gonzo #1, Island Sweet Skunk, critical mass outdoor, others I can't recall and some kind of no-name biker delivery service kush.... This year there is going to be a Hemp trade show in July in Toronto, its put on by Marco at Treating Yourself. I know that some of the big Amsterdam seed vendors will be attending including GHS....

The Toronto Cannabis Cup was put on my Hidden Jungle, I don't know more than that about getting tickets. I belong to a club here and they helped me get my ticket to the boat cruise at a discounted rate. The boat cruise was the best part, that's where the samples were given out. They gave them out on one side of the boat, and there was such a rush of people to that side that boat started to tip!!! they had to make an announcement asking people to disperse for our own safety. LOL

Thank you for both the info and link. Last year by the time I heard about the Hidden Jungle event it was too late to get any tickets. This year I really want to go and met more fellow cannabis enthusiasts.

Oh yeah don't for get about GMM and the Toronto Freedom Festival

Last year we had over 30,000 people and smoked out Queen's Park - the seat of power in Ontario. I love it. The cops get paid $60/hour to watch us smoke! and last year one of my friends had his doobie lit for him by a cop. He's a 60 year old ATP holder but none-the less, fun times.

If you are into buying seeds, you should not miss this event, as there are so many vendors and no need to worry about the mail....

In June there is the Toronto Cannabis Cup put on by the folks at Hidden Jungle.

In July there is the Treating Yourself Medical Marijuana & Hemp Expo which will also include a Medical Marijuana Cup. There is a limited # of VIP Judges Pass still available and are on a first come first serve basis. There will be a minimum of 14 strains to sample and could be as many as 20 if we recieve all the entries on time. At the TY Expo there will be seminars , musical entertainment , vendors and last but not least patients can medicate in the WORLDS LARGEST VAPOR LOUNGE! Everyone is WELCOME to attend and be part of it.

The Expo looks really really cool. I hope there are no issues with Leo.

GMM on May 1st is a must but the Toronto Cannabis Cup looks a little pricey imho but fun neverless.
