Welcome everyone. In this tread I will bring the current affairs of my indoor cabinet.
My current cabinet is 170 cm tall, by 50 cm off deep and 50 cm of wide. Is divided in two compartments with the vegetative taking the upper tier and the flower at the bottom.
The ventilation systems consist in two common coolers for extraction and a passive intake.
The interior is painted in white instead of using mylar or a similar reflecting materials.
The lights are in vegetative two PL of 36 w each. In flower, we got a 150 w HPS with a simple lever and chain with a self made reflector.
All the soil, is mostly home compost with added yellow peat, perlite, with the additives of diatomaceous earth and tiny bits of steel wool. In flower soil I might add a few spoon of wood ash.
For cloning I am using vermiculite and few spoons of soil in the base.
I am using little or no fertilizers, the soil must endure and provide all the nutrients in the cycle. I migth add an extra layer of compost or a a tea made of vegetables skins and some form of sugar, during the flower stage.
Currently I got a 5 (Hashplant x G13) x Hashberry, not sexed yet. A mother of Cream Caramel, with 2 transplanted clones and a batch of 2 waiting to root.
My plans are making seed from all individuals and posteriorly do a back cross to the Cream Caramel (my intentions was using one of the parentals, the Maple Leaf Indica in particular, but I can't afford it :) ) so one of the HP will do.
I will try to update this tread periodically, and every contribution, comment or tip is appreciated.
Thanks for passing by.

Most look very good, some pretty good. I'm interested in your low budget approach. Keep the info coming. Good luck. -granger

Thanks for the reply @Granger2.
The budget approach is more an adaptation to my materials condition. My resources are thin to say at least, and the availability of the common brands in USA and Europe markets is scarce or cost prohibitory.
I try to be an "autonomous" gardener, recycling and manufacturing most of the wares needed in cannabis cultivation. Being organic is a plus.
Is like having a little backyard farm, so I use what is available to me or I try to use general amendments in my plants, that can be bought in any garden centre.
I know that are methods with an accent in production an accelerated ratio of harvest (hydro, bigger installations, use of commercial pesticides and nutrient solutions) but I try to keep it simple.
Is experimental to me, I enjoy working with the plants, and is quite gratifying when the time of harvest arrive.
As insecticide goes I am using a simple preventive based in garlic.
Just take a regular sprayer filled with water and drop a clove of garlic, and presto. No frills.
When a major incursion arises I might use an extract off Melia azedarach , diatomaceous earth, and if the plagues are resilient or persistent, I use a commercial insecticide, but only as last resource.
Thanks for your comment, I will update the tread when there is something note worthy to show.
