hi,i need an opinion. i m going to growing some sour 60,and i want to
make some seeds to use it for my next grow .i have 2 box and i think to use
the first for females and the second to keep one good female with a good male and leave it until the end this gonna work? they will produce aviable seeds?or to keep just the male to the second box
and collect the pollen to pollinated a female, any advice please?

I would just segregate any males I found to their own box or place. Since all you are after is pollen these won't require as much light.

Then I would simply gather some pollen and chose the nicest female(s) to polinate. You could pollinate the whole plant or just a branch/bud site. Then the female(s) would go back with their sisters to finish out. Keep in mind that you'll need to run them longer to allow for seed maturation.

You could...
but i would not advise it at you will not make many seeds doing it that way.

You want to wait until there is the most amount of white pistils on your plant (usually at around 3-4 weeks) before the first pistils start dying/turning orange.

And like claude said.. allow an extra week or so, it takes 4-5 weeks from pollination to mature seeds.

hope this helps

Just curious, would a autoflower x autoflower would the seeds be autoflower also? I have some onyx that I hope to get at least 1 fem, I got 3 seeds. So far my ratio hasnt been good 7-8 males 0 females

Yes they would be autos, (provided the strain you grow is stable, ofcourse).

yes 100%true autoflower x 100%true autoflower will guarantee you an 100%autoflower f1 !

other question. I dint want to open a new thread on this

what if you cross an 100%auto from regular seeds with an 100%autoflower from fem seeds?
I read a bit of this an a few opinions said, the f1 would produce a lot of hermaphrodite. is it right?

You can inluence sec by changing environmental factors.

To get more females:
1. use blue light only.6500k-6700k
2. high humidity.
3. temps 70-74.
4. high ratio of nitrogen.
5. less hours of light (16/8 vs 20/4 vs 24/0)

^ It depends on the way the female was treated in order to get her to produce pollen.

If it was induced through stress.. manipulation of light periods etc,
or if the plants were kept alive much longer than usual to try and get 'late' nanas.

Then theres a higher chance your regular x fem AF seeds would hermy /have hermie tendencies.

It's more likely the female was chemically induced to make pollen through Collodial Silver or STS treatments. Which in my opinion would make the chance of hermies less likely in the offspring of your cross.

The danger is you don't know how the feminised beans were made.

But if you have extra pollen and a nice femmed female it couldn't hurt to make a few beans for fun.

Personally i wouldn't bank on making seeds from fems if they were the only seeds I needed/wanted for a big run etc.
