I'd figure I'd drop in and check out the ole classic thread. It's amazing this thread is still going and going after all these years. I see more and more ideas everytime I look. In fact it's been a few years since stopped by and checked this thread out. Things have been busy for me as well as for others I see. I've made lots of amazing hybrids over the years and still have lots to test out. My advice is to keep on experimenting and making your gene collection larger. Who knows what you will come up with, not to mention your own unique strain collection to smoke from the rest of your life.

Here are some plans I'm working with at the moment.

Barbados Sativa- These beans are straight from the carribbean island itself. Also called Bajun Green is supposed to be a classic carribbean landrace with an uppy high. Who knows what to expect but at least they are still germinating. I plan on sampling and making a few hybrids with it. I had some Jamaican and St.Vincent but unfortunatley they didn't germinate! which sucks because St.Vincent was supposed to be the best of the bunch. I'm thinking Barbados should still be a interesting sativa to work with.

Hello all icmagers. I had a chemjack female chem d x jack here. Beautiful plant, but my friend was growing out the clones and they nearly died, black/purple mainstems, nasty gray roots. My thought is they thought they were dead. well they lived, and thrived. I flowered them in a room full sour d, hindu skunk plants. Well they hermed, but not just any herm. Only 4 half pencil sized pollen sacs on a 3 ft. Plant. The rest was a fully flowered plant. Beautiful. Im under the impression that a herm that small, in the very beggining of flower, and nothing more is a somewhat good thing.

So my question stands, if they never think they will die will that hermie trait ever rear its head in the offspring? Because i have about 20 of each, including chem jack selfed seeds.

P.s. this is my first breeding trial. Not purposely..heh.

well, i finally dipped my toe into the seed making pond.

right now i have a seedism diesel and an flt c99 which was hit with dreamtime and flt c99 pollen.
i was a little careless with the pollen, so i have a lot more seeds that i anticipated on both plants.
