Update: Pollen seems to have taken, but there is 1 more girl we threw in, Apothecary Genetics-Old School Jams (OG Kush x Grape Ape), super resinous, purple leaf curl like deep chunk...should mix with the SSH just fine, I know what he'll do, but I'm wondering if she'll contribute what I'm hoping for...

It's good to see all these ideas of growers around the world. We got to save our genetics some way. Plus by making hybrids insures fresh seed stock all the time. I just puffed a bowl of some Love Potion x Hawaiian Sativa a hybrid that I made. It's nice to sample something that you some what created. It came out really nice as expected with a heavy lemony spicy taste and a long lasting clear head high. Keep making crosses and keep up the great ideas.

Hello!!

I´m finally growing my Sour Diesel x Deep chunk cross. I have 20 plants, and I want to spend all 2011 working on this cross. My basic plan right now is:

-Developing some Sour Diesel x Deep chunk f2 seeds.
-Making a backcross with the Sour Diesel riri cut parental.
-I´d also like to cross the Sour Diesel x Deep chunk f1 with the SSSDH cut.

This is the plan, now let´s hope everything goes ok.

I plan to breed back some of the Grindhouse gear(Mob Boss and Ultra Sonja.), also a SSH x trainwreck. i intend to make some various crosses utilizing C99, planewreck, Da black and Ancient Afghan.

The first cross i have which just started is Prophet F2's whcih will begin my breeding back. I will be backcrossing to the father after this seed run once i find a strong Bubba leaning female from the F2's. After that i will run the BX to find a male to pollinate the original mom or backcross one more time. In end i want a homogeneous Bubba type plant with increased yield while maintaining the unique flavor profile. She already has all the qualities i want, just like the male i chose.

The father is very Bubba leaning but with spectacular vigor, much longer branching, longer dense nugs and a strong citrus smell. He has good resin output also. All this should increase yield vastly on the Bubba momma which is as close as I've seen Prophets get to the original Pre98 Bubba.

This is the original mother i will be starting with. I'm keeping her around for some future work. Day 25


I intend to cross a C99 father to a Bubba Kush momma. Also I intend to cross the same C99 male to "Da Black". Lastly i will be crossing Planewreck female to a Mob Boss father(and a separate Ancient Afghan father also.)

i am planning on pollinating a bubba kush and a calyxxx cutting with my current flo stud... i tihnk that the cross with the bubba will be interesting, and that the flo will mesh well with the background of the calyxxx.... any thoughts?

I thought I would post an update on my first breeding effort - Rapunzel Mix. I still have some buds to de-seed, but I am going to guess that I have at least 8000+ beans.

I soaked 40 seeds in paper towels and got 100% germination. Most had popped by 48-72 hours but I had a few stragglers take 96 hours. I soaked 10 from each line:

ft100 Fairytale #5 x BOG Sour Lifesaver
ft100 Fairytale #7 x BOG Sour Lifesaver
BOG Sour Lifesaver x BOG Sour Lifesaver

I selected 6 of each strain to go into rapid rooters and quite a few are already above ground. I will post some pics in a few days.

I will also be sending in the following packs with a mixture of all 4 strains to Seedbay in the next week:
