Crockettes tangie hermie questions

I am not a fan of hermie seeds but my buddy gifted me some Tangie seeds from a plant that threw a couple of nanners and self pollinated. I have 9 starters a few days old in party cups. only reason I'm growing them out is because I'm a huge fan of the strain, I have a tangie x pure power plant strain I have been growing for a bout a year now and it smells just like tangerines with a citrus flavor and an energetic high grest for day time. I was just wondering what your guys thoughts are about these starters and should I worry about these plants hermying and ruining my crop.

Plants toss nanners for many reasons. Fem seeds dont mean your going to get Hermie plants. The genetics are key. If intersex traits are dom then you will have issues. If its recessive it will not show up often depends how recessive it is. Stress is what brings out bad recessive traits more often.. Some plants will do this in late flower trying to continue there line. If the quality is good having a few nanners is not an issue for me. Just keep an eye for them pick them off when you see them.

Keep a close eye but if I was u I wouldn't bother.... Reason being ..... The plant u have tangie PPP sounds like gold... If it's as you describe why risk fukin with bagseed herm seed.... If u had nuthin Orange in ya stable sure but just be careful n good luck.... Remember every seed has the potential n may be the next great cup winner but at the same time the one next to it can fuck ur world up if uslip n miss sumthin....

Too many keepers found by accidental pollination by nanners to count them. It would be a mistake to toss seeds made from being pollinated by naners. GG#4 and others where found from in these seeds.. When I make female seeds the pollen is made from female plants.. As I mentioned above the plants dom and recessive traits are what matters. If the plant that made that seed only tossed a few nanners that doesn't tell me the plant was a hermie. Stress causes plants to pop naners the most. Many can grow the same plant and never see naners while a few will.. Its not that big of a risk IMO.

The seeds my friend got were from Crockett himself, The tangie x pure power plant will stick around for sure just trying find more keepers of the tangie. My buddy who gifted me the seeds is a very good grower who has been growing many years . I trust his seeds and knowledge just wanted more input. The tangles have insane flavor and I'm just gonna keep the best pheno.

Hey fellows recently i bought 24K i am wondering if i did a good choice... Should i change it while it's in time ?

I have a few orange options most of them being from Exotic Genetix
- Orange Cream (Orange Valley OG x Cookies N Cream)
- Citrique (Orange Valley OG x Lime Skunk)
- Extreme Orange (Extreme OG x Orange Valley OG)
- Karma's White TangHaze (The White x Tangerine Haze)
- Crockett's 24K (Tangie x Kosher Kush)
- Orange Chocolate (Orange Valley OG x Mint Chocolate Chips)

If you guys had those options what do would you choose as your main orange smoke

hey Dankey,,,
i run the kosher tangie in quite high numbers and she was ok plenty of citrus smelling and tasty plants in the there but i ran her side by side with the sour tangie and although she was a bit finicky in veg overall imho i decided for us,,the sour tangie was what we ran again,,
you have some lovely varietys in there but give her a go run alongside Karmas and Crocketts is an idea?,,,,,
very best of luck,,,,944s2:tiphat:

Hey 944 i meant i can choose between one of those because it will ship tomorrow so if i want to change the order i can decided between one of those ...

The main thing is that i want a very citrus / citrus taste plant doesn't need to be a big yield or something like that :D

hey Dankey,,
its that some people are loathed to suggest a variety in case you may end up unhappy with there recommendation,,,,
i think the kosher,,karmas sounds good but the others i dont know about,,
pretty sure your will find a keeper from those two, just need to do a bit more reading up or homework on all of them if you can:),,,,,:tiphat:

They got real killer pink in seed form. Id say some of the best pink ive had was exotic gentics pink... id take that over the pink clone too...

I have a seed from a thc bomb nug I got at the dispensary - the nug was some grade AAA so I was quite taken back.

here you can see the nug I found it in ^

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=339468

and here I've started a grow journal for it ^

she is starting to get a lot of color in the foliage - she is blooming right now. I just checked - (I think I'm on day 15) her pistils are starting to throw some unique colors as well - her foliage is turning a beautiful rustic purple. She filled up my scrog in about 14 days and already smells dank!

I really like having this plant  - I really love her and want to keep her around as long as I can. How do people keep mothers for so long? What is the best way to keep her around? She is in a 5 gallon smart pot atm under a t5 - but I feel she deserves an upgrade just not sure what to do.
I feel lucky that I found a seed.

It was crazy because I tried to pop it using the wet paper towel in a bag method and it didn't pop after like 5 days - so I threw it in some soil - and a week later nothing. So I dug it out of the soil - replanted and 4-5 days later I got a seedling! I'm glad I didn't give up on her
