Crispy bud fell off plant... Help please?

T

I was in trimming off the leaves on the top of the canopy today and found this little bud dangling on a lower branch. It fell off, I didn't clip it. The leaves on it are a very dark green, it looked black at first.

Could it be nitrogen overdose? Can nitrogen overdose cause the hairs on some buds to look burned? They aren't burned from heat, I know that, so it's gotta be some kind of overdose... Anyway the bud came from a plant that previously had a problem with nitrogen toxicity, and I'm thinking the problem isn't gone after all, because the inner lower leaves look terrible.

Time for a flush? Or am I wrong?

Sounds like a plan. Gonna run 3 gallons of filtered water through it right now then take off for a night of drinking. Hopefully I'll see improvement in the next couple days.

The flush helped too.

Looks like a branch that snapped and dried on the plant and you didnt notice it til it was dried. My two cents.

Could be. I don't know how it would've snapped off though, I'm always careful when watering and until last night never really messed with the plants.

Ah well, accidents happen, figured I'd ask cause it's better to be safe than sorry. :joint:

Yep, happens all the time if you 'work' your plants a lot. Most of the time you'll notice when it happens, sometimes you wont. :)

I know it happens, I guess I just didn't think that was it cause I hadn't done anything to make it happen. Most likely happened while watering one day and went unnoticed :joint:
