According to google, use sticky traps, vacuuming the carpet/clean floor to remove eggs, and lastly seal up all cracks and crevices with caulking. Says they sell bait that is poison at stores.

Biodynamic trick is to collect pests,in your case crickets,

burn them in ashes on peace of aluminium foil, then take morser(german)
and made a dust from them.

Add water and ashes in water and spray bottle, mix good and spray your plants..

Trick is that other crickets will not love any more smell of your plants,
they will feel a smell of "death" as its soaking plant tissue..

they will move further.

Biodynamics use zodiak for these, but i think its not necessary to implement
esoteric things cause their tricks are total organic,i tryed something
else and it worked whithouth any esoteric crap or weird magic..

If you try please give some feedback..

Kind regards

If the crickets are outside your bedroom window, I'd seriously hose 'em down during the day.:tiphat:

Good luck!

you say "by your window", meaning outside? if so, spreading lime around might move them on. inside, get a cat. mine eat any bug they find, fly, water bug, stink bug..........anything.

When we were kids we made a cricket trap for fishing bait with a shoe box.
Cut little doors on the ends of the box so the flaps easily go in and out. Put some potato peels or such inside. The crickets go in and are happy to stay there.
It worked pretty good, as I remember.

You need a pet lizard running around at night.

Those crickets will shut up when they notice Godzilla running around.

This lizard is saying: "Make a move punk. Do you fell lucky punk?"

It really is simple:

Lizards eat the crickets, snakes eat the lizards, mongooses to eat the snakes,
eagles to eat the mongooses.

Then all you do is gather up all the eagles and put them in the
clothes hamper and the wife will let them out with the laundry.

Cricket problem solved.

Sticky traps made for rats work awesome at catching unwanted bugs. I use them in my basement to catch spiders that may wander in.
