i wasn't quite sure whare exactly to ask this, but this forum seemed the best bet. you see, i'm a big fan of the "creeper" style high and i was wondering what strain(s) fit the catagory of "creeper".

:thank you:

love your creeper skunk craven. brings me back to some of my first good smokes (other than the asian sativas my sister had connects to) in the early 90's. i can still remember asking why it was called creeper, then i had my answer 20 minute later! nice smoke for sure.

Sour diesel creeps up on you? I've never heard anyone say that before. Doesn't creep up on me.

Anyway, at OP. Unless you mean the genetics "creeper" from the old seed bank I'll assume you mean a stone that creeps up on you.

From what I've seen quite a lot of weed can give the creeper stone. The thing is I usually get it from early harvest buds. Like at the beginning of the harvest window. Like day 55 of a strain that finishes on day 70. The stone isn't as intense, takes a while to creep up, and when it does its a goofy giggly sort of high.

Most people don't take their plants early anymore, with the exception of some outdoor commercial growers. Most people want that "umph". That one hit power shot to the head.

Honestly in this day in age many people (especially growers) have tolerances too high to really feel much of an experience from more mild marijuana. If you smoke hash regularly, or go through a gram or more of high grade weed a day you just aren't likely to feel the creeper stone like you did years earlier.

Its one of the things I worry about in the future of breeding. So many people have extreme tolerances it really necessitates super powerful strains. They usually don't do much except get you LOADED. But the more creative, fun, goofy aspects of marijuana very rarely show themselves in super potent weed. I think a lot of good pot is going to go extinct because peoples tolerances will be too high to appreciate them.

Classic Seeds Jaqulin is a three stage creeper. At first you get a very mellow buzz then twice more and you are quite toasty.
Well worth a grow

I've had "creeper" weed from both indica and sativa dominant strains. My first named strain I grew was C99. I got 4 females from that pack of seeds, each one outstanding. Each plant felt the same in terms of the high, but one plant took a good 15 or 20 minutes for the high to kick in after smoking. I never really understood how one plant could hit you all at once, but a different plant (same strain, same potency, same high) takes 20 minutes to feel the full effects.

I wish I had kept that one. That was in 2001 when I was just getting started. I didn't learn how to take clones and keep mother plants until later.

That one creeper plant was also the fastest finisher of the pack. It was done after 7 weeks of 12/12, and the other 3 took 8 weeks. I don't know how common the creeper pheno occurs, but there's a chance I might have a new one now. I'm about halfway through flowering with 2 new packs of C99 F2's from Gypsy Nirvana. I got 9 females out of the two packs. I'm excited to see if they turn out to be as good as the originals from Brothers Grimm.

The creeper pheno I found was in the original C99, by the way. A friend of mine grew a pack of F2's about 5 years ago from Joey Weed (I think), and he gave me a clone of the best one ot the pack. That one was as good as the original strain, but no creeper effect. I didn't ask him about the others from that pack.
