I'm babysitting and look what I found today.. OMG I have no clue what's wrong.. Too much water or too much heat OR WHAT?? They are away for a week and I'm lost. They have a 4x8 tray ebb and flow, feed at 6am and 6pm for 10 min.

Need more info.
Type of Nutes(kinda looks like a combination of nitrogen overdose and drying out)
ph
EC/PPM
temps
flooding frequency doesn't look like as many as needed. Lift them up and see if they are dry. The rockwool cubes dry out fast depending on heat and humidity levels. Personally, I flood every four hours while lights are on. 1 flood 1 hour after lights out and 1 flood 1 hour before lights come on.
Any other additives used

They are using GHP and the temp got as high as 86deg, the plants are moist and i put another fan in the room. I would just hate for them to return from their trip to find their babies in bad shape. House-sitting someone else’s project is stressful cuz I really don’t everything. The rez was changed two days ago and ph is normal.

Looks like to much nitrogen. To much will cause the leaves to get that claw look. Do you have a ppm or ec meter? Temps could be a bit lower but I don't think that is what's causing the problem. I'm thinking to much nitrogen(high nute strength) and not enough flooding frequency(due to higher temps) are combining to cause the problem.
You might want to give your friends a call and give them a heads up for a possible solution if they can take a call.

That is definetly a Nitrogyn overdose.

Try flushing out the rez and refill with plain PH adjusted water (PH of 5.8 to 6.0) Let The Plain water stay in the rez and water on the normal feeding schedule. 31 time every 3 hours. Do this for several days to a week or until you start to see Very Slight yellowing.(this may take a week). Once you start to see yellowing you'll know its used up all the nitrogyn. The add back in 1/2 of what the dosage was last time and go from there.

Questions:
What is "Normal" Ph to you?
What is the current PPMs?
Did the owner change the rez or did you? (you might be up shit creek) LOL
What do you mean by GHP nutes? (general hydroponics?)
What is the Lighting wattage and how high is it from the plant?
You mentioned feeding at 6 and 6. This is not in flower is it?
Are there more plants in the tray? Do they all look the same?

Anyway get those questions answered and GET IT FLUSHED.........ASAP.

Good luck Norcalkell !!

Overdose, change res, add clean water at ph 6.0 and make sure it stays like that until they return, those got hit hard, but should survive if helped PH and nute wise...
