after doing a number of grows over the years and always looking for something special ive decided to have a bash at breeding.
Ive had a look and a few strains i like the look of, two of them are kerela and lebanese by the real seed company, what do people think of these?
what i thought of doing is germinated all the seeds, veg them for a number of weeks till i can take cuttings and labelling them so i know which mother they came from (or farther). flower and seperate the farthers from the mothers, pick out the most vigorous female lebanese (the lebs are apparently hard to cultivate indoors so picking the most vigorous over the strongest or biggest yeilder makes sense as a big yeilder or potent strain is useless if it wont grow indoors). Harvest pollen from a kerela male, preferably a branchy short and quick flowerer. when the cutting from the chosen female is large enough, flower here and pollinate with chosen male pollen, then harvest the seeds.
after a few weeks when the seeds have increased in viability do a grow out with at least 20 seeds giving 10 females, i can imagine there will be atleast 4 noticable phenotypes but probably more, pick my favorite two phenos, 1 sat dom and 1 indica dom then feminise these using colloidial silver, producing kerelaxlebanese feminised f1 sativa dom and kerelaxlebanese f1 indica dom feminised.
what you guys think?
if you produce a feminised seed from an f1 using its own pollen to pollinate a cutting is it still an f1 as the dna is the same?
i look forward to any advice thanks guys
