has anyone dealt with this before?
from the brown spots im guessing some sort of ph or nute fluctuation,
but the holes? im 99% sure its not insect related,
my grow is ebb n flo in hydroton under a 600hps, with floranova gro nutes, 1000ppm,5.7 to 6.2 ph, RO, atmospheric controller, i would appreciate any input on the subject, ive had this problem before and had poor root growth so i tried adding more oxygen to res and changed flood cycle to every 6 hours, with every other flood being small, 2 min/5 min/2 min/5 min, because i thought i was drowning my roots, thanks in advance

Pic#1- Not sure. Could be physical damage, bugs, or scarring from nute problems. Who knows?
#2- physical damage
#3- acute heat stress/desiccation
#4- how many leaves like that do you see on the plant, or was that one leaf from a shaded spot? Could be a number of things, including the plant getting ready to slough it off...

No CalMag in your system running RO water?
Can you get pics of whole plants, under lighting other than HPS?

mystery

mystery

thanks stinkyattic
im not sure how they got physical damage, maybe the leaf tissue is super sensitive, i LST them and they show no signs of stems breaking. heat stress is out of the question since i run an ac and keep temps under 85, #4 is one of a very few leaves showing brown spots, im not running calmag because the FNG contains calcium, maybe not enough?

Really your plants look quite good, and seeing the big picture, I would say that after all you don't have a Ca problem lol...very nice.
Funny... That is like looking into my own garden... 6" pots... HT pebbles... flood n drain... Keep it simple stoner ;)
The physical damage does look like something was nibbling on the leaves when they were still quite tender.

thanks, i like to keep things as simple as possible too, i can imagine what would be nibbling on then, no signs of bugs anywhere, but who knows, maybe there little nightime ninja bugs, this isnt the first time ive seen this, but ill keep ya updated if more shows up
