Cracking old beans

Hi Folks looking for some help.

I recently received some beans from a guy a buddy met while on holiday.
This guy according to my budd was an old hippy who had traveled a lot.
I have something that simply said 40 years Europe no mold, some from Manali, Lachpur & Kerala.

Now I know about scaring the shells with sand paper but there was a way of pressure cracking the seed which Steve tuck put out moons ago & I can't find it anymore.

Does anyone have any new ways or do they know the old Steve tuck pressure jar way.

cheers...

Soak in sterile water with 1-3% h2o2 until tails are out and then into weak fine grade sterile light fluffy soil.. dust with beneficial microbes eg great white shark and you could also just mist when you come to water them, because the surface has dried slightly, with kelp to boost them slightly..

i think pathogens are always your prime enemy with old seeds but not always because they have had time to grow more just because the protective phytochemistry in the seed and its shell only gets weaker with time and oxidation. This is what id do anyway..
