Hello growers, i have some questions about the smell i can smell from outside the door of the room where my growbox is.
I have got a room with a door for the terrace that i have opened, the room si sized: 290x160x240
Inside there i have got my tent (secret jardin) sized: 240x120x200.
Now i have 6 plants in there, 3 are one month old the three others are one week old. They are in vegetation, and they smell a lot, i can't explain how the smell is..like green plants, sometimes like a weaker weed smell..
I rented the second floor, the first is not mine.. sometimes i can smell the smell 2-3 meters from the door of the room and i need to run the extractor more often if i don't want a high concentration of smell..
I have a 980m3h extractor centrifugal, a 460 centrifugal for intake and 460 centrifugal for the two coolboxes.. i have a 1080 carbon filter and a 600(a bit more) Carbon filter that i can use for the the closed circuit of my coolboxes intake to be sure that no small infiltration of smell/air get inside the coolboxes..
Now, the two intake take fresh air 10cm from the door that is a bit open(4-5cm, it's cold outside, it's good but i can't open more than this or i will start to see penguins in the middle of the night.. the extractor take the air inside the tent from the opposite side of the intake, and drive the air out 10cm from the terrace like the others..
Now they are vegging so with humidity about 60-70 i can't put the filter or IT will not work so good after a short time.. i can't take humidity lower because they need it in vegetation(sativa gen, loves high humidity)..
If i think that about 50 days there will be 40 plants, and i can't hide all that smell in vegetation, i was thinking about an ozonizzator.. uvonair is a bit expensive 350€ but if you say that this one could handle 40 veg plants without filter and 40 flowering plants With filter for 6-7 months, then i could buy it.. i have no holes in the wall where i can reach another room or the outside.. only a terrace/balcony door..
