Now I just examined the soil and seen a bunch of tiny tiny little little bugs crawl'n around. I tried to catch one under the microscope but these things are fast. they're wasy smaller than a grain of sand and so far I only see um on the soil. I already put nematodes in for fungus gnats, What the hell are these things? barely see um with the naked eye, but theyre tuff too, put my finger on one and didnt kill it. anybody know what im dealin with? had a round ass and kinda runs like a mite or spider(from the glimpse I caught in the microscope) can't catch one cuz there too small. are these bugs bad???

The mixture has been too hot for them since they were little, When did this problem start?
How long have they been in this mixture and is there any way you can get a more clear picture?

The pics are so dual I can;t tell the real coloration of the plants.

Did you have nematoads to kill some other pest? Or you have nematoads in your soil right now?

They been in the soil for almost a month, problems started with the leaf curl/hook about a week ago, the rest after forced flower change. I put nematodes in about a week ago, S. Felteia, to get rid of a slight fungus gnat problem. Hear go some more pics, Its hard to take um cuz all I got is a camera phone.

Your droopy leaves show an overwatering problem, or your soil should be too dense. Looks like the roots cannot really get some oxygen.
You said you're watering every 3 or 4 days : is the soil still wet when you watered ? Did you add perlite to your soilmix ?

The Mix had perlite in it, I use a moisture meter and only water when they are pretty dry, I can stick my finger to the knuckle and not feal any moisture, and the pots are light. could it be underwatering?

I've had the same problem pretty much from the get go, my biggest plant is now about 20 in' tall, and the newer growth does not have curl but the bigger and older leaves have that same type of curl, I'm thinking overwatering as well so I have really cut back. :spank:

Underwatering does not look like that.
I would say it could be a little heat stress too, but i'm sticking to my first idea : really looks like your roots are choking.
Try to look at your roots. You can also water with some H2O2 to give oxygen to them.

Good luck.

Hey wreck, has it helped?

I think it has surely helped the newer growth, and maybe even the old some, but the bottom most leaves are dead and yellow looking. Let your soil dry out real good everytime before a new watering.

Also do you have fungus gnats? I have some sort of gnats that I can't get rid of with soapy water, it helps thought a bit. Maybe these gnats are affecting the leaves, may get a bug strip.

Yes, they are overwatered, nematoads can cause a slight droopiness to the plants too..... but they are mainly overwatered more than anything else.........

Well it's how often you are watering, every 4th or 3rd day....... I would stretch it out to every 4th to 5th days for now just until they get bigger, the best way to tell how much your pot has water is to lift it up before and after a good watering.....

You will know how heavy the pot is when you water her good, most of the time you want some run off, but this is only if the plant is in the correct pot size, if it is depending on how long the plant has been in the pot.

With your situation, you want to water until just a slight run off, you stop when you see a few drips come out.

The only time you get pockets is when you just transplanted and have not watered as much, then yes you will get dry pockets and water will sometimes just run right out of the pot without absorbing into the soil, this is what you got to watch for if you just transplanted, this is another reason why lift the pot method works.

When you water do you let a lot of run off happen?

I le a lot of water run off, and water every 3rd day. Good lookin though, Ima switch it to 5th and let less water come out the bottom when I do. Hey Stitch U think I should be feedin um? Its been almost a month in that soil. Last time I waterred I gave um some ff big bloom, and some earth juice bloom, and they lookin a lil healthier. I only did like a 1/4th strengh cuz i mixed the 2.
