Rather than useing pots at my outdoor site, could I just pop a few holes in the bottom of my soil bag and plant directly Into it? Shit I meant to post this in outdoor grows, sorry

Nice one, It's a local brand of soil I use in all my indoor grows so I know it's good stuff, I just wondered if it made the roots rot or anything like that?

Sure is one way, often in the early days(1970's) I'd cut a bag of 40 liter potting mix in half mix in some sand, a few holes then bury in the ground ..I like it on the hill side as the rainwater runs out, is good for 20 weeks or just short of 6 months, and not tall to see either, if you get washed out ...simply lift the bag and all out to drain off

I'm growing diesel Ryder so that should be perfect for them, I was planning on mixing some john innes flower compost in with it and maybe a bit of pearllite with some water retaining crystals. Then I only have to water every few weeks. Also I don't need to take pots to my gorilla site, which is a plus.

Just avoid leaving the site shitty with trash once the grow is complete, as it may make things difficult for a repeat run, which is the advantage of soil mix in a hole is often you can AMEND PREVIOUS YEARS mix, very cheaply, with simple teas
