Correcting a magnesium deficiency

I have searched and haven't found any straight answers. I have a couple of sativa dominant plants in veg. They are about 4-5 nodes and some are starting to show signs of magnesium deficiency. Can I foliar feed to correct this? At what time of day should I do this? They are outside. Is a tablespoon per gallon a good mix? Thanks and apologies if these answers could be found. I tried.

if you look at the stickys part (the very top list) of the cannabis infirmary forum, you will find the thread called: "Sticky: The Complete guide to Sick Plants,pH, and Pest troubles! by
MynameStitch." It's the last one on that list. Scroll down and you will see various deficiencies listed, magnesium being one of them. Some solutions are dolomite lime, epsom salt, earthworm castings, etc. You'll find the info you'll need there.

Good luck.

use cal-mag for mag deficiency works right away. You can also foliar feed within the first 3-3.5 weeks. I tried some store brewed tea from the hydro shop as a foliar feed and it helped give the leaves an extra burst of thrive the next day.

this works miracles too.

Are they in a container / planter outdoors or are they growing in the ground outdoors ?

They are in the ground and have gotten some cow manure and nettle tea. Apart from the mag def I think they look good.

Oh by the way, forgot to tell you that I got epsom salt. Question is, can I foliarfeed it and at what strength?

IF you are going to foliar feed I'd stay with about a quarter teaspoon per gallon, being sure to hit the bottoms of all the foliage....
following that up with another foliar straight water the next day to rinse off the residual salts.

But, If it were mine, since it's just started to show the mg def, I'd water it thoroughly with a tablespoon per gallon being an in ground plant
