ever since 911 happened, you have no more rights like you use to. wire taps, email intrusions, certain words typed on the net get flagged by the government and scrutinized for any plausability. your gonna be guilty until you prove otherwise, and good luck with that unless you have an endless supply of money. its one F'd up country we live in now a days, but hopefully its a safer one.

Important question... whats the word in the park about you???? Pot grower or just some dude getting by????

Just other family guy. I only grow for personal use. Park has over 1k mobile homes. not ghetto.. they train dogs at the large park we have 20 blocks from me. I think I fucked up bad, thinking they weren't going to use dogs. I will be selling the trailer and moving out..

Dude god dam relax there not like your a major grow op with the small plant count you got its a misdemeanor slap on the hand i would be concerned if you had 500 plus plants your mickey mouse in the real world of things get a couple plants growing and be down with it like you said its personal and what i would do is have it out in the open so your not hiding it

Trust me if cops thought it was serious your door would of been kicked down long time ago

You put those 2 bags of plants in someone else's trash. ASAP

You heard it here first bro, I don't even think us med staters should get to tell you what to do for one second. I remember the old days. Hopefully some others from some of the more draconian states will chime in. Good luck again.

I wouldnt panic man. Just be smart, and stay one step ahead. Sounds like youve gotten the place cleaned up. Good move. Its better to be safe than sorry. I know an old had that has incredible intuition. Ive seen him pack up his entire trailer, and haul everything out (grows, bud, pipes, lights etc) and I took it he was just being paranoid but they did end up coming later and found nothing. This happened twice that I recall in a 5 year period, and he was free to grow again. Still hasnt had drug charges, and its always best to be safe and cover your own ass. (his searches came as a result of CYS and his child's school getting involved. I believe the school or counselors were questioning his kid about what was going on at her home. This guy was very open about his use, and often smoked infront of his kids, and had 5gal buckets full of weed stacked in the bedroom.. I dont condone this, btw)

If they do come, and find nothing who cares if they smell cannabis. Theres nothing to convict you or charge u with. Its not illegal to smell like weed.

Be cool. Keeping your head is the best thing you can do.

Sadly, anyone who has ever watched a cop show on TV knows, the pigs gather evidence, make the arrest, and then present the accumulated evidence to the DA office and they decide what they will use and can cause the most harm to the offender and win their case. That might be really a wrong way to handle shit, but that's the reality of it. So, by realizing that, that is the best way to handle things like this. Going the extra mile here might seem futile, but is actually wise. Best of luck!

Hard to do but better safe than sorry. If the cop has begun pulling your power bills it might be a good thing to bring in some house or garden plants.

or, buy a few old computers off of Craigslist (or the new eBay free classifieds), install Blender, and POOF !

instant Renderfarm. consumes LOTS of electricity.

I think you are wrong there since Feb of 2014 police can enter anyones property or home with out a warrant don\t kid your self thank congress as federal court ruling on this matter

In other words, you have no property rights slave, and they can snoop through your personal belongings if they wish. to

In another devastating blow to freedom, the Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that police don’t need a warrant to search your property. As long as two occupants disagree about allowing officers to enter, and the resident who refuses access is then arrested, police may enter the residence.

“Instead of adhering to the warrant requirement,” Ginsburg wrote, “today’s decision tells the police they may dodge it, nevermind ample time to secure the approval of a neutral magistrate.” Tuesday’s ruling, she added, “shrinks to petite size our holding in Georgia v. Randolph.”

Georgia v. Randolph was a similar case the Supreme Court addressed in 2006, in which a domestic violence suspect would not allow police to enter his home, though his wife did offer police consent. The police ultimately entered the home. The Court ruled in the case that the man’s refusal while being present in the home should have kept authorities from entering.

“A physically present inhabitant’s express refusal of consent to a police search [of his home] is dispositive as to him, regardless of the consent of a fellow occupant,” the majority ruled in that case.

The majority, led by Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., said police need not take the time to get a magistrate’s approval before entering a home in such cases. But dissenters, led by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, warned that the decision would erode protections against warrantless home searches. The court had previously held that such protections were at the “very core” of the 4th Amendment and its ban on unreasonable searches and seizures, reports the LA Times.

According to the AP, Justice Samuel Alito wrote the court’s 6-3 decision holding that an occupant may not object to a search when he is not at home.

“We therefore hold that an occupant who is absent due to a lawful detention or arrest stands in the same shoes as an occupant who is absent for any other reason,” Alito said.

You need to work on your reading comprehension before I will engage you in debate.

following this... Id agree to pull up an move, not right away, but definitely move, you feel you have no sense of security rt now, and you're always gona be worried that the popo will come back... that's the worst part... in time you'll get your comfort back, but you are always gona be worried.

And yes, you could have filed a report, but imo all that does is put you on their radar even more! next thing you know your getting pulled over for any bs...

sux worrying about being busted, but we all do, even in a med state; side note note to all... the fed gov has a zero tolerance, as Ive been told this in person, in a bad way!

and in a no non-med state, some rookie cop is just looking for an easy bone, and your it... sux! cops would rather bust a pot head then some jacked up crack head.

you should put up a hidden cam set on a motion detector ie a (stealth) surveillance system, most today can be setup to view from anywhere.

Are you sure the cops came there looking for your plants. Maybe they were there for something else. You sound like you have a tiny closet grow. If they were coming there for you, they would have busted in. The cops have been to my house as well and it never had anything to do with a grow.

Keep in mind that the locals use the powers allowed by the Patriot Act.

(Which is neither Patriotic or Constitutional).

A few years ago the locals (county), were all concerned that the Patriot Act extension, might not pass. They've gotten used to not using 'due process' and don't want it to go away.

Just make sure you vote when the Legislation comes up on the ballot. We are winning this. We just need to 'reeducate' some of our LEOs, on how to act.

Also remember there is a lot of pressure on the LEOs to make arrests so they can keep the private 'prisons' full.

Be careful. Be safe.

All the pot in the world is not worth your freedom.

Take your dog to a trusted friend or family member's house. If they come in again with guns blazing he'll be shot dead before they enter the living room.

Your able to keep calm? I feel like this would be a challenge for me. Obviously you just do it, but I think it would be painful. I go to great lengths to avoid police contact, pretty much a lifestyle at this point.
