i'm a super small time guy with only one plant, and i smoke everything i grow. i keep my mouth shut for the most part. i'm cool with most of my neighbors, and i even watch their kids sometimes. i have no idea why for the past 5 days in a row a squad car has drivin slowly past my house, and even today the officer stopped in front of my driveway. they don't really look at my house at all, but it is hard to tell. to say the least i am completely freaking the phuck out right now. what do you guys think i should do? do i get rid of my shit?

Keep an eye out, and mabey quit smoking inside the house for a couple days. He will smell you smoking it before he smells one plant.

They're probably just driving through showing a "presence" in response to some recent crime.
I don't think rolling a marked squad car by your house would be any kind of preamble to a raid.

98.5% sure you're fine.

i'll have to ask around the neighborhood. i actually filled a police report for my our of town neighbors becuase their car window got smashed in like two weeks ago. it like the same time eveyday at around 10:00am-noon. which seems like a weird time to be trying to find something to bust me for.

Ive had this exact samething happen to me before....Everyday, the same unmarked car would come down my street and turn around in the cul de sac...finally, after a few days of this, I was outside and i stopped him and asked what is going on....I kind of acted like aI was a concerned nosey neighbor.....It turns out, he was about to buy the house right next door to me, and he ended up doing just that.....Didnt stop me from having an inside grow and even had a 14 foot purple plant outdoors, on the opposite side of teh house from his.....We actually became cool..he would invite me over all the time to watch football.....
So Im sure you are ok, its probably nothing...Shit, he might even be fucking off, and just waisting time, after all, work does suck.....Your cool man....Dont freak out to bad...

keep your cool brotha squad car = not serious investigation and if they were on to something theyd knock ur door in before doing something dumb like that...A lot of people want to believe cops are dumb and most are but the guys in the suits aren't and they aren't sending a squad car to camp you out lol.

All it is is your tax dollars actually working like they should. You call the cops and now they are working to keep vandalism and stupid BS from going on.

If you were being investigated it wouldn't be by some goober beat cop in a squad car driving by to see what he could eyeball from the street.

A lot of break ins happen M-F, during the day, while people are at work.
One or more people in your neighborhood were probably broken into and now they have a squad drive through each day as part of his rounds.
Visual deterrent to would be neighborhood robbers, plus it makes the neighbors feel safer after a crime to see them in the neighborhood.

You could always call your local PD and say you've seen a squad driving through everyday and you're wondering if you should be concerned, and ask has there been recent break ins or other crimes in your neighborhood.

Sometimes they list each weeks police reports for the community.

If they were out to bust you why would they give you warning by having a marked car go by 5 days in a row? That would just give you a chance to destroy the evidence. I bet the other posters are correct and there was some recent crime, most likely a neighbors house was broken into around the time of day they have sent the unit out to patrol. But stay aware.
