I picked up a new Maximum Yeald today n sure enough there an add for "RF filter set" from NanoLux!..
It is a plug in extension/cord set w an electronic unit to remove rf.
-both input and out put filters included
-works on both industry plug styles
-works on all brand ballasts

Claims: it greatly reduces RF signature of ALL Digital ballasts

Max conducted emissions reduction 45db
Max radiated emission reduction 25db

so yeah i heard about this some years ago and have been on it since then! The only way to sleep well at night is to run everything through RF Filters, dead cheap and easy to install,
and most important clean & no excess wiring, everything grounded etc.
No need to buy filter kits.. just a waste of money.. if you can put a socket on a lead then you can figure out how to set up a RF Filter!

ohh yeah and mags cause less interference, but dont think they are safer.. especially if you are running a bunch of them you need filters!! also the longer the cables the more interference

when i started indoors I bought a couple cheep cheep chinese digiballast cooltube kits off ebays.
they fukd with my radio in the house a LOT.
about a year ago we had a discussion here on RFI tipping off rippers using the radio to locate gro's.
which got me to wondering what band POPO uses in their cars.
I had replaced 3 of my mags with nanolux digis 3months prior because they ran way cooler.
sure nuff inside the room AM was a ball of static.
next time i rode down the street i put AM on the radio, about 100ft out--> static,
the closer i got the more it gained,
and not a little. riding down the street it faded out.
pulled into the drive way right up to the building and it was a BIG prob on the radio.
I pulled the nanoluxes down and put the mags back up

nice link cheeba!
so does that set up really kill the rfi interference?

those nano filters do not silence RF noise but reduce it to meet FCC rules,
which is all that may be needed for a lot of us.
anyone know where to get em?

for $5 a pop I'll give it a go,
I'd like to run my my nanos again,

I'll tell you if anyone starts walking near my house with an Ariel trying to tri bloody angulate anything theyre going to get a swift kick in the baws and whipped with said ariel.
