Cooltube with internal reflector footprint size

high,

i was thinking about getting a cooltube for my growtent. i have seen one's that have an internal reflector built inside them and was wondering if anybody has used one? if so what is the footprint size of one with a 600w in it?

the one's i have seen are 6" in diameter.

I wouldnt know the exact footprint, but if youre grow tent is pretty close in size to say a 4x4 hydrohut or similar structure, my guess is one of those would make ya happy. keep it easy ~caddy

high cadilliachydro, nice car in your avatar. i was thinking the same as you, my tent is 7 x 4 (homemade). i'm considering using 2 for that space to cover 6 x 3ft.

Cool Breeze from NGW

they cool like a tube but have a reflect like a normal hood come with glass and a socket. but if you are dead set on getting a tube then you need to get this

Sun Tube also from NGW

Its bigger than the cooltube and has a built in socket and you can get a wing for it so you have a wider range of light, IMO its a much better tube. I have used both, and between the two the cool breeze has a better light pattern unless you use the wing add on.


Wow I sound like a sunlight fanboy, really I am not. But I have to point out that they make some good shades.
