Cooling & Venting a room?

I have tried searching on this subject but have gotten too many convoluted responses and most people run closed cabs so it doesn't even apply.

-I have a 2x5x5 grow area. 50 cubic feet.
-It's part of a larger room, closed off only by loose poly.
-The whole room is 600 cubic feet.
-Walk in closet with a bifold door...on the opposite end of the main room from the window...about 15f away.

I'll be running a 1000W HPS on track.

I will surely be purchasing the "Sun Systems" Cool Sun XL 8" reflector to replace my existing open wing design. (I already educated myself on sealing and insulating the reflector)

Now the million dollar question is how do I best (fan type and design) keep my ambients down from 35*C (95*F) to 24-27*C (75-80*F)???

:1help: Thanks IC!!!

Air cool the hood (preferably out a window or vent)
If you have a source of cold air you can pull in (like from under your house) you can probably cool it with that, but that means you can't really use CO2 ever.

If not, you'll need a small air conditioner (portables are ok) to keep the room cool. I have to run but will try to add more to this later

I think 1000 watt is gonna give you major heat issues...
I was running a cab 4wx5hx2d with a 600w and it was hard to keep my temps down.
thats with a cooltube and a 465cfm vortex... a few weeks ago I built a new closet 4x4x8h
and I'm still trying to ironout my heat issues...If I could go back in time I would have bought a 400w instead, you might wanna consider using a 400w...thats just what I've learned from my experience....I wish you luck.

i have a similar problem.... i cut a hole in the ceiling to lead to an attic. and have a fan that sucks the air up into the attic....
