Cooling for 1200w

Hey IC

I'm trying to finalize my design and I'm stuck on the most important part, cooling.

Room: 7 x 4 x 6.5

I had thought of doing just 2x Adjust a Wings and a 350cfm canfan with scrubber... But I'm thinking it might not be enough (intake air 73-78)

So my question is, if I were to run a closed circuit on aircooled hoods -- what size fan would be appropriate for just that (2x 6" 600w hoods and the circuit would be 8' from intake to exhaust.

AND as far as keeping the smell down in my room, what fan size could I get away with just for scrubbing?

Thanks!

Go with an 8" inline, and you will be good. With air cooled hoods it makes the temps 8 to 10 degrees above ambient.

All depends on ambient temps as well.
You don't need a lot for your hoods, but bigger is better, as always.
Blow in to your hoods, don't pull.
Concentrate on having a bigger fan/filter for your room exhaust
If you're pulling cold air from out side to your hoods, its gonna run real cool, and you wont need to exhaust the room much at all.
Remember to always have negative pressure in your room, this will keep the smell from leaking.

Personally I think the best setup is:
FILTER->FAN->HOOD->OUT, but be aware of light leaking out!

Edit: and Adjust a Wings got a baad "review" on Picos aircooled reflector thread
