Cooling a 4x8 tent with (3) 600's

I'm setting up a 4' X 8' Gorilla Tent with (3) air -cooled 600W digital HPS's.
I'm looking for most efficient way to keep it as cool as possible. Any suggestions?
Thank you

I've never ran a tent before and wasn't sure about the heat build up. I was planning on using air from outside to run through the glass covered hood and exhaust into my basement. at the same time, use a blower and carbon filter to vent smell and excess heat out of the tent, also into a very cool basement. I guess I should run a dehumidifier outside the tent.
Anyone that has experience with a 4 x 8 tent and air cooled hoods?

Just turn your air volume over twice a minute with positive pressure matching exhaust and fresh air..The temps, co2 and humidity will generally take care of themselves then with that wattage in that space and that air turn over.. I'd use 8" ducting and 2x identical 8" fans, one in and out at low to medium speed for that space, and run the can filter on the outflow and use a speed controller on the inflow fan to get it to match the outflow fan which will have more backpressure because of the can and longer ducting, if there is significant backpressure run this fan at its higher/medium speed. Have a slight positive pressure in the tent so it bows slightly rather than sucks in, but ever so slightly.

No AC, humidifier, dehumidifier or C02 needed. Best results I seen from a 4x8 tent were with adjusta-wings and 3x600's and air in and out twice a minute..flowering at night, venting outside. Nothing fancy.

Don't air-cool yer lamps is my advice, take the glass out, just pump in fresh air under the plants and take the hot air out on top, draw fresh air from the surrounding cool basement room with a window ajar or way for it to freely draw air and then vent straight to the outside, not into the room..If the tent runs too hot, flower it at night and the temps should then be just right, just monitor your day/night differences 5-15degrees is fine, more than that play around with when in the day you have lights on, try to keep temps around 78-85 degrees and you'll be fine. Keep your bulbs as close to the canopy as you can and space them and position their height so you have one even brightness across the entire canopy. One oscillating fan in that space to stir the air is enough.

I basically do the exact opposite.

What if the room is 80 already?
Wont the lights add a certain amount of heat to the temp of the room? or will the fans cfms cool it off also?

What about the positive tent pressure, how will the smell be contained?

My tent uses air conditioning, air cooled hoods and a humidifier, but I couldn't get the enviroment where I wanted it until like this.

Good luck, many ways to skin a cat, just sharing my method.

What if the room is 80 already? At Nighttime? If so with all that air moving, the temps will rise to maybe 86 and humidity will drop a bit and thats it, but if that is day time temps, what are night temps?
Wont the lights add a certain amount of heat to the temp of the room? or will the fans cfms cool it off also? Heat to the tent yes but that is exhausted very quickly outside, not to the room except for ballast heat, which rises to top of the room, draw air into tent from the ground level of your lungroom and it will be cool. The turnover of air being so quick is the key.

What about the positive tent pressure, how will the smell be contained? A very slight positive pressure in the tent, minimal smell escapes as the air is moving out of the tent so rapidly it doesn't have time to build up. The little that does escape does not matter, the lungroom is still under a negative pressure, air is being drawn from that room into the tent anyway on such a rapid turn over rate so smell doesn't linger there to be an issue either..But only found environment took care of itself in this respect with over 55w/ft2, below that and it was an over-steer, under-steer issue all the time. What was done was just copying the old heads on here..

Good luck, many ways to skin a cat, just sharing my method. Absolutely!

It all depends on your greater environment and all, you just have to play around..

Thank you Mary Jane. I've been growing for quite awhile. Just never used a tent with 3 6's. I've heard not to use the glass before.
Thanks again
