cool running split air con compressor?

hi all,

I am wondering if the compressor of a split load air con could be put in a small room? I know they get very hot but have heard there is water cooled compressors around? Anyone any ideas?

You can put one in a room, but not without some form of intake and exhaust. Definitely not in the room you are growing in. There are water cooled heat exchangers that don't require a compressor, just a good source of cool water that can be drained to waste. I think i've seen actual water cooled mini split a/c's also, but again you need water that can be drained to waste.
