Well in the spring time where I am at our humidity isn't too bad, infact right now it is like it was in the winter...LOW.Temps outside are rising but for the last two days it has been perfect 65-70 degrees outside with about 30% RH.
This winter I ran into a problem in my grow, the humidity outside was so low and therefore lights on in my cab the RH% was low (25-35%).My budd who I used to grow shrooms with was telling me about cool mist humidifiers and how he used one for his latest psilocybe cubensis grow.He plugged it in (not set up to his grow) and withing a minute there was a cool mist.I couldn't tell just how cool it was becuase my handswere already cold but it definitly made them feel cooler.
Anyways,I was wondering if I could use one of these in my cab or rig one up to my cab to raise the humidity when the light is on.
I know it is a cool "mist" humidifier and that scares me,is there any danger of using one of these in a grow (water particles building up?) and will I have to set my fan on a timer, becuase I cant do that until I get my 6" 440cfm inline, all I have is 4" 170cfm inline and that will barely cut it without central A/C being dipped to 65F this time of year.
