First off, I was somewhat apprehensive that it would live up to all hype it's gotten over the years. But it DID.
Yield on this plant was definitely above average. She had a lot of big fat dense colas.
Appearance: Beautiful buds. Light to medium green with bright orange hairs. Lots of frost. If it's bag appeal you're looking for, this strain has it.
Smell: Stinky, stanky, skanky, skunky, raunchy, smelly buds. Especially when broken up. Pew! A very strong smell.
Taste: For all the smell she had, it's taste wasn't as great as I expected. It had that raunchy tangy taste kickin, maybe with a touch of pine in the background. mostly like rottting oranges stored in ol socks. LOL
It was a slightly harsh smoke. Maaaaybe I coulda flushed it better, but i dunno the plant was definitely showing it's nitrogen deficiency at the end, and i usually flush em pretty hard. She definitely could have cured a bit longer, but well...you know. I'm sure part of the harshness were the lung-detonating expando hits.
Slightly below average taste. edit--> To clarify what I mean about slightly below average taste. It has a LOT of taste/flavor to it....it's just not all that delicious. hehehe.
and the main category...the buzz!:
Yield and high are where this plant really shines. GREAT high/stone from her! Above average. I wouldn't say a 10, but I'd sure give her an 8-9.
I say high/stone because unlike a lot of indica/sativa hybrids I've grown and smoked(which often lean toward either the sativa buzz or the indica buzz), this one had some of the best, most well balanced effects of both indica and sativa. I usually smoke from a bong, and if 3 bingers gets me nicely toasted, I'm a happy man. this would get me in 2. (I still took the 3rd one though  )
For a nice smoke test, I rolled up a fatty and stepped out back onto the patio. i love to smoke outdoors in the evening.
I sparked that bad boy up, sat back and smoked it down. Stone came on pretty fast. I sat back and started enjoying nature. The fresh air, the moon, looking around at my veggie garden.......
My mind began to wander with the sativery head high. Not a racy, heart thumping, head spinning high like a haze or a Thai, but more like A11 or Cindy. Very pleasant. Creative thoughts swirled around my head, as I just kicked back and enjoyed the moon and stars feeling VERY content.
At the same time, I was feeling the body buzz kickin in. my limbs started feeling lighter...less painful than usual. I was high and stoned. SWEET!
The buzz lasted a bit longer time than average I'd say.
Overall, this has gotta go up there in my top 5 strains.
I applaud the good folks at Serious Seeds, and I will definitely be sure to grow this one again.
So go out there and grow some AK!
stay safe, and keep em green.
