Cooking marshmellows

I know this isn't the best section to post this in but I think it's appropriate.

I picked up some marshmellows on the way home the other day. I'm too lazy to start a proper fire so that's out of the question. I've been cooking mine with a butane jet lighter which has been working so far. Anyone ever tried microwaving marshmellows? I usually hate microwaving food but if it's known for working out well I'd give it a shot. I'm also looking for something to eat these babies with. I don't have any chocolate around the house. What else goes together with marshmellows?

i reckon they will die in a microwave , best bet is to make hot chocolate and put some on top and then microwave , at least you can drink the gooey mess, be careful though you will melt your mouth

microwaving marshmellows will cause them to expand in size.....it is kinda amazing if your REALLY blasted to watch.

once they cool they turn rock hard and are a PITA to get off of plates....FYI...

What goes with marshmallows? Why you could make rice crispy treats, or mix them with any cereal and butter and melt it together and press it into a pan. The hot cocoa idea is great too. Myself, I make home made marshmallows which are very different from store bought ones, and I sometimes will make those with bho infused in them. If you nuke them in the microwave just d o it in 5 second intervals and have your marshmallows on wax or parchment paper so they don't stick to the plate, don't over cook them so they won't become hard as rocks and possibly break your teeth. Do you have cookies? They're great between cookies, personally I like to get them all toasty and a little charred if I'm going to eat them between cookies or smores like. Or you could make cookies and do a whoopie/moon pie type of filling or cut them into mini sized and put them in your cookie or cake batter/dough or mix them into ice cream..

i use to do this as a kid..microwave them till they expand and get huge..take out immediatly and put in freezer then eat..its a crazy consistency but delicious when stoned

My favorite are chocolate rice krispie treats made with cocoa krispies. It's an easy recipe for edibles if you use cannabutter.
