cooking contact buzz

My wife has been making my edibles lately from some butter that is insanely strong. Every time she makes them she feels like she gets a contact buzz from them cooking. I was curious about it since I do not want to inadvertantly dose one of my young ones from my lack of knowledge.

I don't get a contact buzz when she cooks them but my tolerance is extremely high and she is only a once in a while toker.

Tell her to stop huffing her cooking. No, but seriously, besides that it smells a certain way this seems very unlikely. Is she handling the butter with her hands and or the things she's cooking or it's mixtures directly on her skin?

she doesn't snack on the cookie dough... does she? most people, when they make cookies, either "scratch or mix, snag roughly a teaspoon or more worth of cookie dough as they make them. at least, that's what i've noticed over the years any way.

if your butter is extracted well it can be very similar to olive oil and u can practically rub that in your skin as a topical(not recommended) but a sort of contact high. I know i was definitely a fan of making butter or cooking oil recipes especially when you need to squeeze the remaining butter/oil out of the product! haha  so if she was hand kneading or something similar theres def a chance!

Haha yeah, it always happens to me when I lick the spoon before I put it in the sink when I'm all done.

By the time the edibles are baked up, I'm starting to feel a bit of a buzz (I make strong edibles) and then by the time I eat one I can't leave the house for another 8 hours

As for a buzz from the actual baking...make sure the oven isn't too hot, you could be vaping goodies on accident. I know I get it a little bit when I'm simmering the butter in the crockpot, so I know I'm losing some potency (not enough to make a huge difference though).
