Controlling powdery mildew in the middle to late stages of flowering?

Just wanted to see peoples' different methods for controlling powdery mildew in middle to late stages of flowering. there are a lot of teas and sprays that you can mix but some of them can cause the buds to burn or even affect the quality and yield. if anyone knows of anything that is safe to use let me know your opinion. thanks

In the past I have used 5ml/l of cold pressed neem oil, it can make a leaf that is white from PM be free of the stuff for 7-10 days make sure plants are dry before turning the lights back on to minimize burn.... depending on how often and/or heavily applied it can also brown some hairs or cause spray damage to leaf it can also impart a neemish taste if sprayed too late in flower. Most things sprayed during mid to late flower will linger in flavour, at least neem is the safest IMHO.Beats smoking mildew anyways.

I use 'Serenade' as a spray mixed way down with plain water. It works great and never notice bad taste or smell on the finished product (the spray itself stinks!) Some folks don't like it though. I don't use anything the last two weeks..... just gotta get it under control before that with low RH and lots of breeze through the canopy.

i just sprayed my outdoor plant..with a mixture of 2 tablespoons neem oil and 1 teaspoon detergent to 1 gallon of water...I hate to spray any plant that is in it's 4th week of flwering almost 5th..BUT I HAD TO...does anyone know if it will change the taste..I have read it does...I hope not..I found powdery mildew 2 days ago and have been doing TONS of research and finanly decided to spray this morning..I only have found a few spots of PM, but DO NOT want it getting into the buds...

Has anyone else had much experience with spraying neem in 4th-5th week of flower

I've sprayed neem fairly late in flower (up to day 40) and so far, you would never know from the taste of the harvest (and it's still in it's first few weeks of curing time). I personally wouldn't go much further than 2 weeks prior to harvest (and only then if you were using a relatively mild mixture for mite control, as I was).

wow thanks for your quick response K.J...that was fast...WOW now you have made me feel much better..I know why the one plant has it..it's very shaded and is cramped up against a fence(outside)...It's just have been using this same spot 2 years and no PM...i guess this strain is susceptible to PM...thanks..I am only gonna spray the once..i think..
What do you suggest??
It's day 25 of 12/12 but they are outside so not exactly,,just approximatly..should i spray one more time in a week

and also because the plant is outside..when it rains(been very dry here) It will wash off most of the residual..I think

Sorry, can't speak much to PM as I've never had that problem. I was using neem to combat spider mites.
