Controll odor with coffee beans

S

SCROG McDuck

Coffee beans (whole) in small trays here and there almost
eliminate all odors from a home...

No big coffee smell, either...

I use french roast. $6-$8/lb..

How often do you have to replace them? I feel like that is alot of fine coffee going to waste. Carbon Scrubbers, even DIY one, work and arent that expensive.

I grew mine in tomato plants and you got great veggies and my friends could even find them! You can put some lettuce and basil which smells grand, mint grows fast, it's great to chew , you can sell it to grocery stores or cafes. Basil, smells real nice too you might be able to sell to italian rest.

Useing the 3rd bedroom for bloomin', but use them out in the living area, mostly.. change when starting to smell agin...
I've thought about grinding it up and smpking it but haven't as of yet... wonder if would be MJ flavored?

There is a scrubber 'in' the room but the room is not 100% sealed. I closed the AC return in that room but the house still
smelled of raw MJ... I love the smell but cant/do not want to take the chance... Floridas' laws suck.

I've only used them for about a month now.. my accountant told me about it,
she raises terriers and the dog smell was killing her social life.

I'm debating whether this is a joke or not. "...thought about grinding it up and smpking it..."

You're kidding, right? Your room doesn't need to be sealed. Get your scrubber hooked up to some ducting and blow that air out of the room, out the window, into the hallway, SOMETHING. It creates negative pressure, so that any leaks will only suck air INTO the room, meaning all the air that leaves the room has been scrubbed.

Coffee beans, no joke.. it works.. to controll odors..
I'm not saying it is the end of scrubbers!

I have the scrubber blowing into the attic.. at times,, I use the door to the room, depending on the season and wether the heat is on or the AC, to controll temps/hmidity.. open door=some smell..

or maybe I need a bigger scrubber/fan combo.. could be..
for now, that is what I have/use.. bigger when it goes down..

If one must maintain the lowest possible smell,
$8 seems a small price to pay to 'try it'.

Do you think I'm Juan Valdez? Pushng coffe... by the pound. HA!

Maybe my senses 'have' grown accustomed to the smell,
I do not think so... but I will set up a test with visitors.. just for ya'll..

i use an aromatherapy burner to cover the smell of weed in the house (that i get when i take plants out of my cab etc - NOT to replace a proper can filter)

i also use coffee - i drink it and that gives me the energy to look after my plants :)

I love the smell, but yes the coffee works, and if your cragel like me you'll grind it and drink it with a Bong and a Skyf.

Namaste :joint:

I can drink coffee, but it's not exactly like I eat the extra bags of carbon I have lying around in my reserve ;)

I'll give this a shot next time around. It does sound like a plausible concept, at least :)

The best coffee can do is present a competing smell to distract ones nose.

It cannot remove the odorous particles in the air from the marijuana in any way whatsoever.

It masks, not eliminates.

At least something like Ono Gel (or Febreeze for that matter) can actually remove the odorous particles from the air.
