DWC with airstones, Purblend pro grow at 550-600ppm, approx 25 days from lightly rooted clones. ph to 5.6, let it drift up to 6.2 after 5 or so days, then ph to 5.6 again. Cool tube at 2 ft away.

Plants in 8" nets. small amount of lava. plants are about 1ft tall, and 1ft in diameter.

Water 10 days old. 75% tap at 70 ppm, 25% ro at 6 ppm.

rez 68-70, cooled to 68, rises to 70 then recooled to 68 again. Every 4-5 hours with light on 18/6.

effects older fan leaves mainly, but effecting older leaves as well. red lines show leaf tips curling under.

Numbers show what they start out as, then end up 6 -7 days later.

Growth approx 1in per day.

Numb 1, just shows problems at tips. #6 is shit out of luck, chop chop i go to number 6.

Thanks for any suggestions, i read the def facts, but looks like so many to me. Suggestions appreciated.

Pure blend pro grow requires cal mag plus or other cal/mag suppliment to be complete when your doing hydro applications.

yeah was about to say ph but then i noticed the same thing. thats a cal dif with a slight mag dif as well. get some calmag you'll be fine just dont ever due the calmag or you will end up causeing a lock out.

Thanks for input guys.

I had these def before when i had some microblast in the system last nute batch @ 2 -3mil per gallon. Minutes ago i checked my EJ Microblast, and come to find out it has no ca in it. Hummm i thought that i read it did contain CA? atleast my bottle doesnt. I checked out the Deficencey/problem chart and i said it looked like ph spotting, or calcium def.

Since i thought microblast had CA in it, i ruled out the calcium. But now i find out it doesnt when i thought it was the same as cal-mag minus the N.

Reason why i didn't chose cal mag in the first place was because it contained N. I said "why do i want N with my calcium & mag supplement" I don't, especially when the PPMs get up there or in late flower. Next thing you know im getting nute lockout or burn due to the added N. So i shyed away.

HUmm any other supplements that just contain either just calcium or mag, or both.

Very interesting, now i know.

Humm so what other Cal & mag supplements are out there other then Cal-mag?

Cal mag plus does add some n but its in the nitrate form not ammonia or urea nitrogen. This will not lock out any elements like k, ca, or mg because its a negative molecule and they are positive. They don't compete. Also it will not burn because plants can safely store excess nitrate nitrogen unlike other forms of n. The reason the nitrogen is in there in the first place is because it is a highly soluble form of calcium and magnesium. (calcium nitrate and magnesium nitrate) At 5ml per gallon cal mag plus, you would add only 25 ppm nitrogen. Really very little. So little you wont cause any growth spurts in flower. The plus in cal mag plus stands for micronutrients so you can stop adding other micronutrient suppliments.

Thanks u everyone for the advice.

8ball: im glad u explained abit about the N. My understanding is much better now.

I Added 2 mil per gal of cal-mag a few hours ago.

My ppm was 690 before. After 2 mil of cal-mag to 150gallons, at last check it raised it to 810ppm. raised 120 ppms.

Is 2 mil sufficient? Or should i dilute the water. then add more cal-mag to the solution.

thanks for input.... i hope this supplement wont effect the other strain which is very happy right now.

thanks all.. and B-safe
