Considering Santa Fe Compact70

Greetings all. I'm currently using a box store Homelabs 70 pint in my 560 cubic foot space. Have also used the Frigidaire 70 pint. Unit is hooked to a controller. Many days it struggles to keep humidity under 60%. When the controller shuts if off, the humidity jumps pretty quickly, often overshooting my high end 55% number by the time the unit begins pulling water. I'm considering switching to the Santa Fe Compact70. I realize it's rated to pull the same amount of moisture, but I have to imagine it will do it more quickly and efficiently than the ones I've used so far. The space is a basement coal room, so cinder block foundation, and outside temps and moisture definitely affect my indoor environment. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
