Conception Nurseries

These people appear to keep a large “library” of clones in tissue culture.
I’m curious to see the full list of genetic they have but I can access from my location… can anyone help and post it up or pm me it?

Other than that, anyone know anything about them? Thanks

Only part of their library is open for their base public commercial use. I want to say it's about 10-15 offerings as their mainstays. They hold a much deeper library, but that's usually commerical operations that pay a higher fee for a more exclusive service where they will gen 0 plants and keep them in cold storage. They will either provide you with gen 0 plants of your own stock given enough volume or the occasional pull from cold storage with the more exclusive contracts.

Most tissue culture places generally Gen 0 their mother stock and then take cuttings off those moms to provide commercial stock for customers, Conception is one of the few that will provide you with gen 0 plants instead of the "tree" cutting.

Off the top of my head currently for the more public offerings for California at least. It varies state by state.

Caribbean Cookies
Berry Pie
Oscimene Kush
Gelato 41
Gelato 33
Nimbus Snacks
Grape Pie
Sherbert
Gorrila Glue #4

All nurseries have their issues, you're bound to find some people with mixed results.

There are so many new and old nurseries I have a hard time remembering one from the other. For me, friend, I don't believe that a clone cloned from tissue is any better or different than regular clones, cloned the old-fashioned way.

Just by looking at their setup on the computer, they look like they are ass-kicking expensive. They have a locked door so to speak when it comes to seeing inside and for that reason, I think they sell snake oil to anyone stupid enough to give them money.

Seeds are the best place to put my effort and the safest place too. I can get 100s more clones from a 10-pack of seed and quicker too. Without all the diseases.

For most people's situation you are probably pretty spot on. I think snake oil is a little extreme personally, I think it's more a question if the scale makes sense for you.

Someone who wants to either

1) Outsource their propagation for potentional pest and viriod containment, and/or streamlining the business.
2) Have their existing library of hunted and selected strains archived, cleaned up, and cold storaged
3) Be able to provide another layer of ensuring a buyer you are getting packs from the conception cut (which often comes directly from companies like PCG and other notables, rather than a random one hunted from a pack of seeds.

I've seen some strains perform better from gen 0 than a tree cut, and some worse, it really depends. Even if it's only a 2-3% yield or 1 or 2 day veg time reduction in a conservative estimation, if you're harvesting 20+ times a year that could potentially add up.

One thing to think about, I can only speak to myself locally, but many of the clone guys or black market nurseries, roughly 1/5 or a quarter of their menu comes from conception offerings. They got the cut from someone in the white market and they will get a new one every year or so so it remains fresh and full of vigor to power their business. Even if you think it's snake oil, you may still be benefiting from their offerings in a very roundabout way.
