First the (small) back story. i am a middle-aged male who has never really done anything with his life. While I have been a supporter of the legalization of MJ in Ohio (not counting the recent, incredibly bad, constitutional amendment they tried to pass) I have never used myself.
As part of my "broadening horizons" self-improvement kick I decided to fly somewhere (as I have never flown before either). So for someone planning a weekend vacation in Denver I would like some advice. I considered taking the Greyhound or Amtrak as they are also on my lists of "things to try" but the thought of 30 hours by bus or more by train rather put me off. I'll save those for my trip to Niagara Falls and Disneyworld!
First, any advice on what a absolutely clueless beginner should do? Take one of the cannabis tours I see advertised? Any recommendations? Any known to be particularly friendly to the clueless (as I would hate to slow down or bother the more experienced people's tours)?
Second, any recommendations on a not-overly-expensive place to lay my head for two/three nights in or around Denver? While I see "420 friendly" hotels being advertised their going rate certainly seems to be more upscale than what I would hope to spend. Not that i have much recent experience their either as I have stayed in a motel for all of one night in the last 20 years.
Thanks for any advice you care to give.
