ok...so i first got a card in 2004 at Dr. Hany Assad's office on franklin st. in oakland. i had my rec for a year but then i did not renew it until 2008 (again through Dr. Assad) and it seemed like a lot of things changed over those years. in 2005 Assad gave me both a letter of recommendation and an actual card that said Compassionate Caregivers (The Third Floor Oakland) on it. When i got it renewed in 2008, they just gave me a recommendation and told me to go the OCBC for the patient id card.
in 2004, i never got to go to the third floor but i did go to mission st. caregivers several times. I think they were both owned by Compassionate Caregivers. mission st. was so fucking awesome. they had their weed in these prescription bottles that were branded "Goldstar Pharmacy". I know that both of those clubs were shut down but i am wondering if the growers of goldstar pharmacy are still growing and where can i find their meds? they had the best purple urkle and blue dot that i have ever had. i haven't had any urkle that has been as good at any other club. are these guys still growing? do they supply any other clubs that are still open today? is goldstar pharmacy the same people as compassionate caregivers? what was there relationship with assad?
i mean is it just me or were clubs better back in 2004 than they are now? i can't find shit as dank as i used to get back then. seemed like bpg was better back then, pcc on telegraph was better back then, mission st. was amazing and third floor probably was too.
but what happened to these ppl? i miss their product so much.
