Commercial plastic shelves

Just picked up some commercial plastic shelves. Was curious if an yone h used them efore as a grow box frame?

Thinking id hang some 2ft flouro for some clones and then below that section have a 250hps, possible 400.

The shelves are 3ft by 1.5 ft. have 3 shelf plates and only need to go get done pipes for legs.

Anyone use these before?

My ebb and flow trays sit on them. They work good, I think 30 bucks worth supports 2 trays.

Did you enclose it? How big is your shelves?

in a 4.5sqft area, i know i could fit 2 plants in it, but im thinking i might want to do a scrog and try to get 4 plants in it. Not sure if thats feasable, and this idea is still in design so ill be making many changes in the coming weeks/months.

Super stoked to move outta micro cabs into a bigger cab(the micro will be running aswell)

Wow I really like that cab design.

I'll be taking my idea and drawing it out on sketchup before I start any purchases and once its done I'll upload it for all to see and give advice

Well people. I have created a design using google sketchup.

First time using the software so some of the design is a little funky. The scaling of the box on the verytop that would contain the fan/scrubber is NOT to scale, however the flower cab and clone chamber is to scale along with the dimentions of the cab.

In the clone chamber, on the top left hand corner(looking towards the doors) i have a 3inch hole which will be adjusted during construction. This hole will be used for all electric wires that are inside the cab.

The cloning chamber on the top is about 24inches high while beign 36inches long.

The box inside is a scaled model of the ViaVolt 2ft 4x24w fluoro's found on homedepot's site(this is not set in stone and very well could change and i am open to suggestions). Here is a link to itHomedepot Viavolt Fluoro

The lower chamber I am thinking i will run a 250w HPS/MH fixture. That way i can also flower in this section when I eventually choose to do so.
