commercial imported bud from Netherlands

Does anybody know what strains get imported into the UK from Amsterdam/NL? They're always the same- very light green colour or almost golden sometimes, frosty, few orange hairs, fruity skunky smell and taste.... or sometimes abit more hashy flavour to the taste. Proabably decent yielders too as they are commerical strains from what I can gather.

Seems to be the same 2 strains coming through, I'd like to grow them out and save myself buying another few grams every other day, lol

Any help would be appreciated

usually its power plant ,topp 44 or white widow ,,recently though theres been a load of blue cheese ,,the quality varies due to them shaking an washing in holland

but like k1llakrOn says your own will be better than anything imported (or should be),,you'll enjoy finding out anyway ,good luck on ya quest

am pretty sure most of it is widow and power plant, i two have noticed that there seems to be two main commercial buds both of them dont taste the nicest but have a nice layer of crystals but dont seem to be as potent as they look. recentely though have been getting some tasty bubblegum, very very potent blueberry and some green that is crystallized and smells like cheese with buds that look pretty unique (kinda looked bubblegum like but with pinkish hair's and kush like buds that werent the normal kush density) but dont think it's cheese it was strong but it didnt have shit on the blueberry.
i agree hazyfontazy when you smoke the lower end examples of homegrown weed that are fresh and not neccecarily crystalized is usually more potent than commercials

I'v grown it out and it maches your description, the other that close to that is Passion #1
both are local dutch favorites to grow and quick finishers
but these days theres more Uk grown weed than dutch imported in the Uk

haha, thats so easy, I started a thread on OG about this........ where does all that Breeders Bud go???? Well for sensi seeds............its NYC, to be sold at TOP DOLLAR in Retail Caskets! The Sensi Delivery Service in NYC is refferal only and extremely descrete about the way they do things, they give no one second chances and they have STRICT RULES that are to be followed.......proving to the world that the service is really a privillage, except when they ass rape you at $30/gram ........ but they usually have a selection of at least 15 or so strains....... so you wanna know where it goes..... Sensi is stuffing their pockets on two fronts........probably the primary reason they never lower their prices to that of anything decent, because they are in effect offering potential competitors a chance to compete with them on their own level, the genetics.......... so hey next time you want some killer Amsterdam buds in the States....... Wich has been adulterated with a sand like substance.

Look's good weigh's up small ,if you chew a small piece of leaf there is a glass/sand like substance .

mmm not sure bout that one but come across weed that had been sprayed off a dealer i dont normally go to and took it back was only a ten bag but did it on principle.
had one spliff and it felt weird on the back of the throat, was not cured at all and upon closer inspection had a glitter like hair spray on it it was well too shiny so got mag glass out and went ill and jumped straight on my bike back. aint been there since

im growing my own at the moment, ive got 3 bubblelicious, 3 greenhouse widows 3 ak 48 and one armageddon 47 in my closet under a 125watt envirolite and 250 watt sodium lamp and 3 bubblelicious in my backgarden il take some pics when ive sexed them. I really hope the armageddon is girl cos it reeked 3 weeks into seedling stage!!

nice selection chizzle! your right about the adultarated pot floating about nowdays it's been either soaked or sprayed with BRIX, here's a picture of the offending substance

bloody 'orrible stuff mate! A guy called herbilizor previously of OG done a great thread about this shit and it's short history in growing........ steer clear of anybud with this shit, I'd say..... I guess they are spinning/pollintaing the bud in NL/Dam for the pollen/crystals and then replacing the trichs by spraying them with this shit.

Anything for that extra buck! anyways, I already grow me own..... just about to roll a joint of my Sour Diesel 2.5

nice plants skunkmasterflex, what strain is that? Ya the viet bud sucks rotten eggs mate...... I think it's mostly down to their shoddy drying pratices as I have dried and cured a draw from them before which turned out to rawk big time! but ya agreed that their bud is far from good most of the time.

So anyway I think you guys are spot on with powerplant, mentioned this to a mate and he was like yeah that's the stuff he rememeber buying @ greenhouse.... toke toke , ya this is definately powerplant.

i got some brix'd up stuff in amsterdam...also got some lavender bud that was heavily doused with lavender oil at hunter's bar in the red light district. be careful out there guys, amsterdam is way too touristy and they love our money...

Nothing wrong with the bud at hunters, at least not when im there.

I've got a friend that purchases some bud from someone who gets his from the Netherlands. It is definitely better than the street product here in UK (which I think is grown by the Chinese/Vietnamese) but I think the imported stuff from the Netherlands is also street product not coffeeshop quality. Maybe that Brix gives it that throat afterburn I get 10 mins after smoking a joint.
