More details in this thread here: here.
i started growing about 10 month ago.
i bought white widow nirvana seeds. planted 4 of them which vegged for 4 weeks
i took some clones and all but one died(i know what was the problem i did not have propagation tent to keep the moisturized)
of the 4 plants that i grew 2 were female and the clone that lived was a female to so i was satisfied.
after about 2 month of flowering under grolux 400w hps (and vegging the clone under 150w mh)
the results were amazing
i actually got 110g per plant
which in begginers term is pretty good i guess
but it was all downhill from here.
i put my clone in flowering box and took some clones again i had 80% survival of the clones this time.
but the plant that was in flowering finished flowering in just 7 weeks ???
and the yield was 60 grams !!!!
i had 4 well developed clones which i put in the flowering and took clones again..
this time i managed to screw up all of them by nut poisoning them
and the yield was 0 grams this time
so now i am questioning my every step 10 times
should i start adding some ferts now to these clones?
Theyre looking fine so far. It looks like theyre being overwatered though. Maybe back off the waterings and wait for the soil to dry out some. What soil are you using?
Some of your leaf tips appear to be burnt probably a result of too "hot" of soil for young clones. I would continue watering when needed and only start feeding at about 1/4 the recommended amount once the leaves start yellowing from lack of nitrogen. Its a little difficult to see any yellowing from the pics with the hid on.
Its always a good idea to give donor plants a shot of bloom fert the day before or several hours before taking cuts. They should be well nitrogenated but will be lacking in phosphorous.Feeding depends on the media, water and nutes used.I use PBP grow and feed immediately after rooting. You may not want to try that with FF grow big lol.I plant my rooted cuts directly into ocean forest and perlite with a skosh of lime,I've never experienced the "heat" from this media on my plants, even when ferts are used properly.Clones are a funny thing.I've been perpetually cloning a specific pheno now for close to 4 years.Identical cuts taken from the same plant in the same media and given the same lighting and nutes can look quite different at different stages of growth.Right now I have about 20 blockhead 30 days in,about 3/4 of them are a very dark green, about 1/4 are lighter green. You'll crunch your cranium trying to figure out the little disparities and lose touch with whats important if you're not careful! You really have to try different media/nutes and determine for yourself whats best for your particular strain. If you choose fox farm products in soil,go very slow maybe 1/2 strength.PBP grow can be used as directed in my experience and I like it better than grow big by fox farm(To be more accurate,I dont use PBP the very first watering when rooted,I use Olivia's cloning solution for the P,on the second watering I use 7 ml PBP and LK
Of course they can if they were cut from the same plants pictured. Clones are exact copies of the mother plant. The variables and possible pitfalls are controlled by you, the grower, and if you do everything the same (barring an infestation or disease) you should get the same product.
WW, I hope you don't think I was inferring that you are in some way incapable. I certainly meant no insult.
I too have had some difficulty of late getting the same results I used to. It happens to all of us. I only meant to re-assure you that it was possible to get the same results and that your clones looked alright to me. As someone mentioned before, there are two that look to be a bit yellow and a tiny bit of leaf curl on one, nothing looks too serious.
dont worry man .. i am pissed at myself
it would be easier for me if i did not get great results on the first grow
i mean wtf?? first grow 110g per plant and now i cant even grow them
hey mahn............i hope my WW looks as good as your first grow......
and well done.......atleast u got some clones going cause i,m still stuggling with the cuttings
oh well, i only tried once......
