Comet 209P/LINEAR and Camelopardalid Meteor Shower Tonight

Tonight the Earth will pass through the dust trail of a comet called 209P/LINEAR. It will be the 9th closest comet ever observed from earth, and we are supposed to be passing through some material that has broken off of the comet. Go outside between 2 - 4 AM Eastern US time. Look towards the north star. Supposed to be a good show if your're somewhere dark enough to see it.

I fucking missed it... was planning on taking pics and had a spot picked out... but the beer and baby back ribs made me fall asleep after consuming....darn

I woke up at 3:00am and went out to look. No outside lights at my house. The stars were bright. After about 45 minutes I hadn't seen a single meteor.
